I just reset the trip #1 values, but when i had a less fancy car i just wrote it down in the maintenance book like my dad told me. He was old school though and we were poor 😂

Shouldn't trust lube techs to touch your vehicle at all. Do it yourself and save the piece of mind and some cash.

My buddy worked at an EZ Lube and they would offer Mobil 1 when it first came out. They would use the Mobil 1 on their personal cars and fill the bottles up with the regular oil All customers saw was them pouring Mobile 1 in their cars not knowing it was conventional oil. Many other horrible stories like that

I keep every oil change with kms and the next one coming up with the date in my Samsung notes. For anyone curious, 8.000km intervall.

I just keep a little notebook in the glove compartment, along with every receipt for any parts I buy so I can verify the date of repair

I don’t do it. Honestly for me I just change oil every 3k because I run my engine hot. Can’t let it get to 4-5k or I start breaking shit. Learned after blowing the motor once.
