The best basic cleaner for regular cleaning on a glass rig that I've found is 50/50 mix of vinegar and water. It also seems to deter rodents from getting in the boat. For the scum line toilet bowl cleaner works good. I do use windex for cleaning the cap if its handy and my vinegar mix isnt. The vinegar also cleans moldy horse tack too if needed

Pretty Slick bud , could you imagine you were me living here on Ky. Lake I bought 2017 RT188 the White one man lol . yeah the white !! But it's sharp and coming up on 5 yrs. and no Scum line water line or nothing and I got 2 8 ft. Power Poles and no scum on mounting brackets . I fish around 120 to 150 days a year and from day one buddy of mine told me about that Hot Sauce in Black and Red spray bottle I think made by Boat Bling . I get it at Walmart but it's little high at $12 but thing is after several times using , it begins to build a film like on it ya know kinda like a wax . Once that slick like film get's on it real good just damp micro cloth takes it off quick . Shit I have to be in some chocolate milk water to have to actually spray the stuff almost . It's advertised as Water Spot remover and Wally World was out one time and I got that Waterless Wash shit for Automobiles ya know and it's bout the same thing . They all leave a waxy film on it and I reckon some better than others . But spray on wipe withone cloth and wipe buff off with clean one . They have the Black and Green bottle to that's Vinyl Sauce and I tell ya it's good on your s4ats and shit I mean it will shine up some bad dirty mildewed seats . Go buy ya some after your next Tourney Win lol . Hey checkout Richard Gene the Fishing Machine on here man I think you'll like em . He's on Guntersville part of Tn. River and that man can go target any fish in the system on any given day . He's taught me several things and man I tel ya I eat sleep and drink fish . I think I gotta issue Lmao. The absolute BEST stuff is Boat Bling Hot Sauce. My local Walmart has it in stock.

I second Texoma Outdoors. Been using the vinegar and water and the scum line comes off with little to no effort. Wipe it down when you come out of the water and no problems and this is a very cheap way of cleaning your boat.

I use simple green on my white Tracker and the vinegar Windex on the Mercury!

Yea the Vinegar is my preferred one for the motor. Gets those water spots off good

Does it get rid of water marks too?

Needed this the other day! The scum line was so bad on my tracker, I went around the entire thing with a magic eraser. 😅

It takes a little elbow grease if the scum line is old but it does work!

Windex works wonders on carpet stains also

I always put protectant back on them after wipe them down....never had an issue might would if I didn't add protectant though
