I use a 1/16oz ned head......i like that the head is very short and compact. I dont prefer a standard jighead for this technique

Actually Kevin if you do not mind I live in Virginia and would love to be able to come to these local tournaments if it is something you arrange I would love to be included in the circle and if not no worry I was just wondering how to register for these tournaments. I appreciate it man!! I dont put them on anymore but a guy I know does. They are every Wednesday out of 258 boat ramp on the Nottoway. 4:30pm to 8:30pm. They are open to everyone

We have a Wednesday afternoon bass tournament every week. Starts at 4. 3 fish limit. Meet at lake prince to draw lake. Singles and doubles trail puts it on. Come on out and try your luck against some of the best around

Kevin you need to upgrade and get Ultrex with spotlock to keep you off the point. It was a game changer for me.

Everytime I tgink to get one I run up the river and plow into logs. Thats the only thing making me keep my Fortrex lol

@@GunnFishTVfor what it’s worth, the ultrex on my z21 was an utter show for me. had to take it to the mechanic 3 times in a season until finally the motor literally disconnected and fell off the shaft. After that incident i had enough and went to the lowrance ghost. this is season 3 with the ghost and literally has ran without a hiccup since being installed. If you’re considering switching, go with the ghost. Side note: The fortrex on my old z7 used to be a tank, miles better experience than the ultrex.

I rarely use it but.....this was a solid school of largies and this was about the only way I could get them to bite. I still have my opinions on it but Ive gotten my butt whooped with it to much lol

If they was stacked on top of that point cranking should have caught them ? Was they suspended or on bottom or both ?

They were about 1 foot off the bottom....i threw the jerkbait, paddle tail, big ribbontail worm and crankbait to them (couldn't show everything on the video) and the Skooler was all I could get them to come off the bottom on. Some days I can get them cranking but I couldn't this day
