Keep 'em Rollin', Tim!
Ғылым және технология
While you can throw, bounce or catch a ball, Tim has many ball toys in his collection that do all sorts of unusual things...
The Snail Ball rolls down a slope incredibly slowly...
A ball that - when you turn it around - has a Father Christmas face on the other side. Touch the two metal contacts with a moist finger and he talks!
A baseball on one side - with a face a bit like a gargoyle on the other side. 'Crazy Ball' they call it!
'Blaster Balls' are made of some kind of ceramic substance, and embedded in the surface are lots of little 'caps' - tiny pieces of material that will make a bang when ignited, which is done by contact with a hard object, normally the other Blaster Ball.
'Astro Jacks' are a juggling toy, with three balls on a string.

my man Tim is riding that cordite high
I'd love to see a full length video of Tim's magic tricks. Even if they're simple they have a lot of charm when Tim presents them.

Tim, you are on the ball and you have a well rounded personality. Well done.
A new Tim vid? Roll the tape!
Tim can take any simple thing and make it entertaining.
Oh yes that smell of cap guns takes me back to a simpler time! Your vids are great Tim
I had a ball watching this. Thanks for sharing more of your amazing collection!
I feel like I always sleep better when I watch Grand Illusions before I go to bed.
Tim's a baller ⛹♂
Simple brass ball manages to amaze. Rather cool.
Where I grew up they called the baseball toys Madballs
3:57 That's a Madball! I collected those in the early 90's. That one specifically is called Screamin' Meemie.
Hi Tim. Love your voice
Those three balls on a string thing had some big brand name attached to it and were all the rage at the turn of the century. Alas I have forgotten the brand name, I think it was like "Super YoYo" or something
Really need a q and a session!
3:29 that’s a very American Santa!
I believe that the baseball with a face on it may be a part of (or at least “heavily inspired by”) a range of toys called MadBalls. They were popular in the 80s and had a revival a few years back. I wanted to get some but never saw them on the shelves at the time of the revival (plus i dont think i was really doing reviews at the time). Apparently they also do action figures now with the balls as heads. I may have to pick up a few of the figures if i can find them anywhere. I havent seen them in a while so i assume that the reboot didnt really work.
Forgot about this channel for a while, so glad to rediscover it. Best unintended ASMR ever!
It's a pity that the Snail Ball is not available any more!
Wonderful stuff Indeed Tim. Thanks!
Nah, not silica gel Tim. Silicone oil or grease is more likely. Love your vlogs Sir !👍🏻🤝🏻🇳🇱
I remember The "Crazy Balls" (also called 'Mad Balls') were fantastic. I believe the Baseball one was called 'Screamin' Meemie". My brother had two; one that looked like a giant eyeball (Oculus Orbus) and one like a skeletons head (Dust Brain). I had 'Wolf Breath' who was a werewolf head.

God, I remember that baseball ⚾ with the face on it (Crazy Ball he called it?) 🤔, I had several of them with different faces/styles... They were a bit of a craze at the time, late 1980s/early 1990s or so... The nostalgia is almost unbearable here! 😊 😀

@@GrapieBro Yup, you're most probably correct! 😊 Mad Balls it most probably is! 😊 I had a few different ones, I think there were only 3 kinds? 🤔 My mate's dog decided they were his 'fetch' toys and pretty much decimated them! 😊 On a _completely _*_different_* note : that same mate I just mentioned (who owned the dog!), he had a 'toy' plastic boomerang and obviously as kids we had no luck in getting the damn thing to work and fly back to us! But when I once threw it from his window at the top of his house, I was just throwing it down to the ground... And when I did throw it, Wayhey! 😊 It totally worked and this heavy, thick plastic boomerang 'toy' all of a sudden became a potentially deadly weapon! 😊😀 I was well pleased with myself for a 9yr old! LoL! 😊 😀 I STILL show off my boomerang throwing skills to this day, should any of my friends get their kids toy boomerangs out in the park! 😊 LoL! "HOW did you do that?" 🤔 "Show me how you do that!" 🤔 Easy when you know the trick to throwing one! ✌🏼😁👍🏼 Errr, sorry, that was a totally random tangent to go off on! 😊
The snail ball and the one that shoots up in the air are my favorites. Very nice to see that. :D I hope you will get them in the shop, I would love to try myself.
I, like most people here, would love to see Tim do a magic show!
Who doesn't love a bit of cordite..
3:49 That "Baseball" is actually a merchandise item from the 1980s cartoon TV series called 'Madballs'. That particular character was named 'Screaming Meemie'. You should try to collect the whole set of character balls
I want to see it on a bigger slope.or a taller slope, that would be a cool video alone
3:43 Is from a toy line in the 1980's called Mad Balls. Baseball sized toys with various monster faces. Made into a short animated series, 10 issue comicbook series and other merchandise. The one shown could be considered the mascot of the line. His name is Screamin' Meemie.

I remember seeing CrazyBalls in sports stores, never made sense to me because you aren't going to be playing anything with them. They're quite ridgid.

i came from a time when balls were not very hard and not very resilient, so when the very hard, ugly Super Balls came out, we wanted them...just like we wanted hula hoops, Silly Putty, Slinkies, Etch a Sketches, etc. the point of Super Balls is to slam them down as hard as you can and marvel at how high they bounce back. even minimal effort produces quite a bounce.

Tims got brass balls
3:50 i had a few of these face balls when i was a kid, theres a collection of different ones using different sports balls. Probably mid to late 80s?
Balls from the Nile
How did they close the metal ball, with another solid metal ball inside, AND some sicone gel, and get it all sealed up without burning anything? My goodness, it really looks like magic.
What an awesome video! :D But the baseball ball shouldn't bounce, lol. I had no idea balls could take so long to go down a slope! Amazing! How come the Astrojacks don't get tangled?!
Any kid would look at that giant ball of candy and be like... 😍
6:45 I have one of those. pretty fun, but it got a knot in it halfway through
3:42 what the, Screamin Meemie?
This is great! I was wondering if you have a collection of Newton's cradles? Some v interesting toys here. 👍
