Both of Staten and Harvick are so talented. Racing door to door for over 20 laps and keeping it clean. They are 2 to watch, they'll be 18 before we know it!

Can’t argue with that 😅. It got super frustrating at a couple times when I feel like I got a better exit and tried to go 3 wide down the front, only to get absolutely dogged down the straight lol.

This is third generation racing. Kevin's uncle Ray was a desert racer in the 1960's. I found an old photo the other day from a race in Borrego of Ray's Jeep blowing past me as I snapped it with my Kodak Instamatic camera.

That was one hell of a race, great job guys!!

Without multiple sponsorships it is darn near impossible for a person with no name or family history to get a shot. I have dreamed of being a race car driver since I was a tiny young boy. But my path in life has not allowed for my dream to come true.

When he hits the truck series I might go back to a race but I don't know NASCAR thumbs their nose at the fans and they wonder why the stands are empty.

That’s silly. If they have no talent they won’t win much. Sons wanting to follow in their ( hero ) father’s footsteps is a natural occurrence

I have always been able to wheel anything I drove I just had no big name nor big money.

Nepotism 💯. Look at Ty Gibbs straight up p.o.s. Never liked him. Even worse when wrecked his own teammate in the Ixfinity series to take his first win away.

Money and a certain last name go very far in NASCAR unfortunately.

There is way too much nepotism in Nascar - it only depends on how your daddy or grandaddy is - not if you have natural talent or not. This takes away from the honor and respect of the sport.

Yep every son or grandson of any racer in the last 30 years pretty much has a ride if they really want it. I really doubt that kid is much better than the guys he's competing with, but his dad has deep pockets so he's gonna get the best of the best as far as knowledge helping him in the pits.

I don't think anybody is jealous, fact is Flo racing or any other media group always gives these sensationalized reports of kids like keelan. I'm not saying at all that he's a bad driver, but you know that there are other kids in that field who are likely just as good or better. As the first commenter said there's a pattern of nepotism/special treatment in nascar and that trickles down to about every form of racing. Vast majority of success coming from these young guys with certain last names is not from raw talent.
