I would prefer the Uttarakhand govt tourism packages of comfortable stay rather than lot of private tourist packages. But its bit costlier than private packages. Please check the Uttarakhand tourism website for more packages uttarakhandtourism.gov.in/tour-packages

Medical procedures are not mandatory for kedarnath trek madam. Those procedures are for amarnath yatra trek.

Temple timings is 4am to 9 pm. But temple will be closed between 3pm to 5pm everyday.
