I just discovered Keb Mo, Now my soul is getting better.

This man defines the term artist. His music comes as natural for him as breathing.

I'd never heard of Keb' Mo' (Kevin Moore) until a popular local radio talk show host talked about him years ago. If I had, I might have paid no mind, thinking he was a rapper or something. Thank God I checked him out, his fusion of blues, funky rock and pure talent has enriched my musical life. I've seen him alone unplugged, and with a huge backup band, always top quality. He encourages young performers; with the big band he called out a few new kids to sing a verse of "Perpetual Blues Machine", one of whom on keyboard had never sung on stage before. Consummate performer. They were all wearing hightop red tennies, and one of his shoelaces came loose. He steps over by one of the drummers like he's just grooving with him, and I told the wife, watch this. That foot goes in the shadows, and comes out retied. Smooth as silk.

Always wanted to love the blues but never really did. Keb Mo is sucking me in. Yes I think I might be a blues fan. What an awesome voice.

Just found Mo on you tube cant believe what i have been missing proper old school blues man. Brilliant .

I love when an artist reaches the point that they don't have to play the BS promotions game. Great music from a no nonsense guy. Love it.

He was 42 when he recorded Keb' Mo', his first fairly popular album. Keb' Mo' is not an overnight sensation by any standard of measurement - he has flat paid his dues. Very nice to see the recognition come before he died.

OMG! So glad I stumbled onto this fabulous little concert. Kev' Mo' is so great, this whole show is great. He's a national treasure.

I don't know if I commented on this video before, but this is everything that's good to the world

Keb gets steadily better as he gets older. I worried about the Delta Blues when John Lee Hooker passed, but Keb Mo has it in good hands now.

I’m a rock blues guitar player and have heard Keb early on in the 90 s , back then I was into playing a lot of SRV and Clapton , and rock , but man this is pure soul blues , I had forgotten the foundation , this man makes me want to go back to the real blues awesome

Just found out he sings the intro for 'Welcome to Wrexham" season 1. Oddly, for such an incredible blues man, the song is a piano/voice cover of Times are A's Changin'. Still, what a wonderful voice

I never paid much attention to Keb' Mo'. In the late 80's early 90's I started reaching back. I was certainly aware of blues and had some favorite records. The more I got into guitar the more I started to explore who influenced Led Zep and Rolling Stones, etc. You start to find Howlin' Wolf and Magic Sam, Sonny Boy Williamson, Junior Wells. You start to listen differently to Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, BB King, Albert, Freddie. You see where SRV launches from and takes the torch. Keb Mo was not on my radar, but I was aware of him. I saw him play the Robert Johnson song Walking Blues with the Playing for Change. I have carved out a space to explore Keb Mo's contributions. He has a beautiful voice and quite a nice player. Bravo Keb Mo.
