I used to love Keane’s sadder songs on their earlier albums. I was much more depressed back then. Now, though, I’m drawn to this much more hopeful song. Things are getting better. :)

This is real music - coming from the heart, not from machines. What they convey in the lyrics and music is a piece of art in itself.

One of the best band's in all of the ages of music. Fantastic track.

in the international music industry, im so sad to say people of today listen less on this kind of genre. checking youtube every now and then seeing 1D , JUSTIN BEIBER, and k pop artist gaining more and more views everyday makes me wanna change the way people think about music. but in an unkown instinct of mine, i feel much better to know that we, PIANO ROCK AND KEANE FANS are united by youtube.. it makes me think that we are unique ..

I have always loved this song, but i feel it's time that I commented on here; this track is heavenly ,it is sublime, other-worldly, the piano riff is totally amazing, and sends shivers down the spine; and Tom's vocals are incredible. The best song Keane ever recorded.....

@andyfleming747 I forgot to say thank you for your well wishes. I am chronically ill and can't do much. Keane has gotten me through a lot since they first came out with Hopes and Fears. A really rotten guy I dated while going to university introduced me to them. I was so confused because I didn't think he had the right to such beautiful music and lyrics. I am now married and have a lovely husband who enjoys Keane with me every day and is just as sad hearing about Keane no longer performing. Some day, somehow...they'll be back again. 💕

they say that your music is your soul. i think that's true ...been a keane fan for 11 years now and going strong! i hope they'll never cease to make music

......Why so underrated ? Keane's 1st two records were so brilliant I thought I was seeing the next really big thing in music (Hopes & Fears-2004). Then they did 2 sub-par records (Night Train & Spiraling) Now they're back to doing what they do best with the release of Strangeland.....I hope they stay on that track. When Keane writes stuff like they did on "Iron Sea" there's none better.....

and they aren't underrated in the UK, just play to an older audience so you tend not to hear them on mainstream radio which is aimed at kids and the crap they listen to nowadays......If you haven't ever seen Keane live, you must... Tom Chaplin's voice is faultless.

You can't blame them for taking a break, THEY DESERVE IT. Best band out there I've found in quality of their work (music and lyrics) in my opinion. 10 years ON THE MOVE and still giving 110%. I saw the Strangeland show near Detroit in 01-2013. AWESOME show. Truly dedicated to their fans. Bad icy freezing rain and they STILL came out to visit with us. As they came out they had this strange look in their eyes - not mad/annoyed- just very beat/tired looking. Remember they're people with lives too!

Jake Muller I'll have you know that I am a big fan of both. This and higher than the sun didn't track because they lack mass appeal. This track in particular also feels rushed. It should be four or five minutes but it's barely three and a half.

This song is confirmed Keane has for 10 years more of good music.

I can't stop listening them! It just makes you feel good after a bad or rough patch in your life.

Keane deserve a rest , they've been working since their first album came out and way behind that. Me I'm grateful I was able to attend to one of their concerts . It was one of the best moments in my life yet , and I say yet just because I plan to attend many more. It's The Sun's fault this rumor that they are "breaking up " got out of proportion. We fans know that they have been more than kind to us letting us hear their songs and enjoy their concerts.Besides Tom is going solo ..! XD

Maybe I will just do that over Xmas break.. pack backpack and head out. Amazing song from an Amazing band. Discovered Keane late (2 years ago), sad won't be able to see them live. Maybe someday..

So in sync with these evolutionary times. Just what we all needed, now if only others could rise to this level. Keane has brought us up to speed...but their future is uncertain like everyone's. Hang tight. In the next few years it will all be different and time will bend along our continued journey. Keane has helped us this far, now its up to us to truly be of service.
