She is so humble and honest. Just an amazing person. So glad she came out of hiding.
"baby, you cannot hide anymore" an actual proof Hugh Jackman is not just amazing actor but a really smart guy. to me KEALA is a BREAKTHROUGH ARTIST OF 2017 and i will never get over the fact 'this is me' did not win the oscar. the woman makes me cry literally everytime the song comes up
She is amazing in the film. Her voice, her presence...everyone just bow down now, because she is seriously a queen of music!

I love Hugh Jackman and I’ve never been disappointed by any of his films, but honestly, I watched this movie solely for the song “This Is Me” and the story of the Bearded Lady and the other “freaks” in the film. I was born with a birth defect that, although not blatantly obvious, made me an outcast from the age of five, and the treatment of my classmates made me feel like a freak of nature. So, naturally, when I went to see the film in the theater, I cried throughout the majority of it and was nearly hyperventilating by the end of it. Certain scenes and songs reminded me so much of childhood experiences that I had, as someone who was “different”, and it was, in a way, very cathartic.

DrEaMsOfAnOvEl I totally feel you. I was born with spina bifida and am in a wheelchair. I went to see the film purely to see a fun film, but came out sobbing at how much I related to it. I’ve seen it 4 times since.

A dog bit my face when I was 9 and tore my upper lip through. All my years I had the stigma of being called 'hair lip' because everyone thought I had a cleft lip. I didn't see this movie in the theatre but downloaded it at home--thank goodness!--because 'This Is Me' just tore me up. I cry every time I hear it. So to all of us that are different let's celebrate because--THIS IS US!!!!!

After listening to "This Is Me" both in the film and in a couple videos, I too was reminded of what I also went through from childhood to adulthood. When I was 18, I was diagnosed with autism, and I didn't realize I had it until then. Growing up, a lot of people hated me and I was bullied a lot in school and the workplace, even online for 3 years. Living with it at age 30 now is still very difficult, especially with depression, anxiety, and anger issues. It was listening to "This Is Me" and seeing my favorite Disney films "Lilo & Stitch" and "Zootopia" that reminded me that I'm perfect just the way I am.

She stole the movie with her amazing voice!
She deserves the oscar
Like I've told many people, there was no one who could've possibly been better in the role of Lettie. Keala was, in my opinion, absolutely perfect from start to finish.
I am so glad she is getting recognized, but I am subscribing because of the interviewer, you are so well researched, kind, and give the interviewee their moment, a true unteachable talent.
Wow!!! I had to come back and comment on the interviewer! I don't think I ever comment on the skills of the interviewer but I had to for him! He was AWESOME!! His questions were so engaging and he got her to say things that I REALLY wanted to know without even knowing I really wanted to know that stuff! I'm VERY impressed! Such a great host!
I just saw the movie today and I can tell how passionate every crew member was! Never before have I so instantly felt so inspired by and connected to a character/actor before. Even before I saw the movie, when I saw the first trailer my favorite character was the bearded woman.
I love that poster of the movie. He looks so happy

She is an amazingly kind and beautiful soul, oh my god, she seems so nice, and thats all that matters, that u have a great heart, and her talent is unbelievably fantastic and undeniable, the song This is me is such a strong and powerful song, the director surely chose the right person to sing it.
Crying all throughout this video cuz Keala is just so damn beautiful and her and Hugh's friendship is the purest thing
Love that she talked about not hiding anymore. I've done musical theater, opera and choral. I'm a big girl with a big voice and a lot of range, so I'm always chorus. I never get named parts because they always need a strong voice in chorus who can switch from soprano to tenor at the drop of a hat. And because of the way I look, auditions and solos scare the crap out of me. I start shaking and everything. Everyone I talk to can't understand why I'm so scared. I'm on stage all the time. I must love the attention. No. I can blend in with a choir. There's a fourth wall there on stage that I can hide behind. That's not just me. That's a whole choir. That's not me. That's a character I'm playing. It made me happy that she's a little like that too.

I love singing, but singing outside of being a part of the chorus terrifies me. I can totally relate. Though..when I try to sing in front of people, my vocal cords tell me their not here for lime light and run away lol.
I could never see anyone else, other than Keala Settle of course, playing the bearded lady
Keala is such a wonderful treasure of a human being I love her so much 💕
I've never related so much to a performer. I studied acting for 6 years and in all the roles I've played on stage, are always a part of me even today. I feel as if my characters are my family members since I know them so personally and intimately. Keala really described that to a T. She's such an incredible role model
she was incredible in the film! i hope she wins! a very well-deserved nomination
Best film EVER! I’m no prude but it’s so nice to watch a film with no swearing, no sex and no violence (apart from a couple of fist fights). The soundtrack is amazing. There’s not one song that I skip - they are all equally fantastic. I didn’t think I’d find a film that equalled Titanic for me - but this is it!

Titanic was my favorite movie too, but I have was so blown away by this movie, that it us now my very favorite. Titanic had a 20 year run as my favorite so that is pretty smazing. It took that long for me to love another movie with such intensity. Have seen Greatest Showman over 20 times already since I first saw it a week ago. Crazy addictive movie! 😍

This is a Wonderful, uplifting movie and Keala does a magnificent job in her role.
Just got home from the movie and oh my god. I’ll be honest I usually dislike musicals but this movie was great. And I didn’t even know that this song was so well recognized and that just goes to show how amazing it really is.
Shes so beautiful. And a great voice!

Matt is really good. Great interview
I often wonder why people hit the dislike button. I mean what is there to dislike. You learn soooo much from a video like this especially if you are in the arts like myself. Where is there to dislike? I think there are just negative people who's sole purpose is to go against the grain and do something that they think is going to rock the boat and make people shake their heads. It's such a shame.
