Nice video. Thank you for posting.
Great to see the boys flying again.
Good looking jet!
Beautiful PW4000 sound
The broken Boeing, still can't believe the AF accepted it in this condition

There is something about the airforce matte color that makes these planes look like behemoths more than they already are.

@@JungleYT One thing is for sure. This aircraft is not ticking all the boxes as the next USAF refueller. It's not allowed to carry passengers or cargo.

@@thehighlander959 Why? It doesn't have enough power to lift people, cargo and fuel?

@@JungleYT It has enough power it has 2 x PW 4000 engines. The USAF have not certified the KC-46 to carry passengers or cargo. The reason for this is classified, however there are rumours. You should dig deeper to find out?
New sub. 👍
A beautiful tanker. Looking like mix of 10 and 135.
So, this is slated to replace the KC-135R... Military version of the 767

Yes. We have 12 of them at Pease. The KC -135's that were here have moved elsewhere.

C-45 MRTT was the preferred option by the US Air Force. Until Boeings senators got their say in the matter.

@@JungleYT The guys who designed the KC-135 and KC-10 tanker fleets are either retired or have passed on. Boeing no longer has the experience to build a fleet of KC-46 for the Air Force. It's nearly three years behind schedule and Boeing owe the USAF and taxpayers a shed load of money for all the delays and problems to the program.

@@thehighlander959 "No longer has the experience"? It's a 767 airframe... It's already been proven. So, you're saying the current crop of engineers are crap... The C-17 also had lots of issues, but Douglas / Boeing eventually worked it out and it's a great airplane...
Sounds somewhat similar 2 a c17 Globemaster. It is bcoz the c17's pw2000 is a derated version of pw4000
