Thanks for the visual cue! I knew about the two PEWGF inputs, and I can hit DF2 PEWGF a lot but not consistently. I was always going off muscle memory and timing based on the sound of buttons when pressed. The knee touching the ground is a good visual cue, and perfectly displayed in your slowmo footage. Thank you, and awesome job! This should definitely help people 👍

If you have trouble with the timing i would recommend doing a d/f+4 after a d/f+2. If the opponent floats for a juggle that means you did it too late or early. If the opponent just stands back up you did it right. This might help you figure out the timing.

PEWGF is a great example to why I love Kazuya so much, he's very demanding of fundamentals and execution and is difficult but on the other hand he's so satisfying to play as, specially his insanely big damage combos. Kazuya is my favorite character both Lore and Gameplay wise. Thank you for thees pieces of advice, I'll definitely try this advice since I'm in desperate need of improving my execution with Kazuya.

@@TheMainManPAK I've always been a Kazuya main since I was 12 lol, when Jin wasn't there, Kazuya would be my pick, it would take several years for me to realize that my real main is Kazuya because he just clicks with me. I always liked characters that take a lot of time to learn but also do very beefy damage, so Kazuya felt pretty close to home with my overall preferences.

Still remembering my first pewgf. Practice is key. Muscle memory of ur thumb(im a pad) to constantly get the input is important. I play on p1 and find fndf2 works 1/5 tries while fddf2 needs to be fast af and hence get it like 1/15. Trying to be precise works better than speed for me Edit: Also getting consistent otgf also helped me a lot prior to getting ch2pewgd

I always use F,D,DF+2 that's the only command i get while doing electrics on both sides. I use a stick

Btw If you are having trouble with pewgf in itself,try doing otgf or jsfr consistently,that should give you the muscle memory and then when u practicd kaz,just time it right after the df2.well thats what helped me

This is just me but Forward + hadouken is how i do the regular EWGF then it becomes complicated, it becomes Forward forward + hadouken then you become more advance and do forward + hadouken followed by forward forward + hadouken XD i guess im kinda strange cause i play on keyboard

No worries man, it works either way. The only key to PEWGF is how fast you do an Electric after df2

I still remember my friend saying to me that don't practice PEWGF on pad or else it would get mushed(the Dpad) but i still ignored him started practising anyway... by the time I started hitting it consistent by the unharming the dpad trick... my friend got jealous and started practicing it himself and got his pad rekt in 2 months... anyways I know everything about PEWGF and i find this video of no use but i appreciate your hard work in making it the time you saved for people watching it *REP+*

I cant get the command down for some reason every time i do a pewgf it always comes out as a EWGF i dont know why only rarely have i done the command correctly im on a ps5 controller any tips on how to fix that?

If you're on pad, the second command for PEWGF is more consistent. Use F,N,DF+2 it's easily done on pad

Yes with but with RP or 2 button as OTGF is with 1 or X button

I‘ll keep practicing it but out of like 1000 electrics I manage to hit the full launch once. Faster finger input I guess at this point 😅🤣 it’s so hard to do a perf electric like straight out of the standing position, mine always atleast moves a bit. 😋

@@TheMainManPAK To be honest : F-N-DF+2 felt very good on the first few hours but once i got used to keyboard F-D-DF+2 is my personal comfy pick now. I‘m still very inconsistent with it but I’m slowly getting the hang of the timing for normal Ewgf‘s
