🎵Kaz Hawkins - music video - One More Fight (Lipstick and Cocaine)

Музыка

#kazhawkins #onemorefight Official Music Video of «One More Fight » 🎶 ‘My Life and I’ 💿 : Dixiefrog.lnk.to/MyLifeAndI
The song that saved me.... The story goes.. I was a drug addict, I wanted to die, I was depressed, I was being beaten to near death by an ex partner. A policeman rescued me. A doctor helped me heal & when I lay dying on the floor my mother's face came to me from the grave and said "you can do this, it's just one more fight". I then fought harder than I ever had, to LIVE, because music was my destiny.
Talk to someone about depression or anything that you are going through. Don't think your worth is being beaten or brainwashed into submission & don't ever think that this world would be better without you! I am proof that life can be wonderful.
This song is for all those who dare to speak up against such things. As hard as it is to sing it, I wrote it for my own recovery but also for you, YOU who are fighting the fight.
If you need advice on anything I have posted please contact your local mental health charities or authorities but do not stay silent. With all my love.. Kaz xx

I´m really schnubbisch about Beethoven and I still agree, he would. He would, even if it was him alone in a big crowd of whatever plastic fans or people believing in "calmdown relax classical music" or people thinking, a woman shouln´t sing these words and like this.

Hi Ms Hawkins, I’m a Social Worker, who worked with the Sex Worker community, on Assertive Outreach, in Liverpool. Our Team were the best and our one doctor, who gave a damn and the Police who worked very hard to safeguard and protect these women and, at times, their young daughters, who had also been introduced into the Life, were all an honour and privilege to work with. This song and your interpretation brought me to tears, floods of them. The innocence at the beginning and the exhaustion at the end was done with so much raw emotion, compassion and resignation. My compliments to your Accompaniment - the arrangement was so simple and elegant allowing your power to reach the summit. You did these women/girls proud and conveyed a difficult story. May the God of your understanding, bless you and keep you xx

Such a heart felt song, being an EX addict myself, it resonates a lot of truth, to how I felt going through it...Mistakes were made along the way, and I found myself lying on the floor more than once...Thankfully I am through that period now. Unfortunately I fked a lot of good relationships up over it, (Meaning friends, family, and significant others, over in the process, of finding myself again.) It is a constant struggle to get through, but if you believe in yourself, greatness will come. Believe and keep hope in the darkest recess's of your core. Thank you Kaz for singing this song, For all of you and all of me, Believe it can get better and easier as time passes by. Peace to you all, stay safe, stay healthy and just breathe, keep moving forward, time is short here on this wonderfully fked up planet we call home. I wish the best for all of you.

To me, you’re also singing for all those who never got to hear the knock. If a song, like a mother’s love, can reach across time as a vibration, which I believe it can, this song will always do so.Bravo.🦋

My Story I've sat on many bar stools, today I sit on a pew. The bar stool led to a jail cell, today I'm something new. I've never been asked to walk a straight line or blow into a device, the choir's music sounds beautiful and the people around me smell nice! No one has thrown a punch at me for something stupid I've said. People get on their knees with me and pray with me instead. I still remember the bar stool and all it's misery, so I choose to sit in a church today, today my spirit is free. Amen

This song touched me on a deep, deep level. Though I haven't had addictions issues, I have had mental health issues, and the awful, life-threatening thoughts that accompany those issues. The universal message of hope is palpable, and I thank you. I am so glad that you beat your demons.

Surprisingly similar. I honestly believe you dont have addiction without having mental issues that are to hard to handle ... I think it's why some people can just stop a drug and others loose their soul to it. Who would voluntarily go back to living in hell after they believe that a pill, shot injection, can make it all hurt less... it takes so long for it to become clear you just trade one problem for another.... its nearly impossible.

Being saved by others when one has given up hope and being guided beyond the grave back to self-care is an incredibly poignant experience and a candle of hope that can burn brightly for many souls in pain. Thank you for sharing your God-given gift so that others may heal too. Sending you a warm hug as thanks for your warm heart and voice.
