A meeting between the Omusinga or King of the Rwenzururu cultural institution in the Rwenzori sub region, and the inspector general of police General Kale Kayihura has resolved to install mechanisms through which cases of insecurity in the area can be handled without the use of force.
The Omusinga has also refuted reports that his kingdom is linked to the incidents of violence in the flashpoint district of Kasese.
Violence in Buhuhira and Hima in Kasese district broke out a week ago following protests over the LC3 chairperson election results.
