So I have some peeps from Florida talking about finding these. Anyone else in the country seeing them for affordable prices? Or seeing them at all??? Sams Costco?? Anywhere? Lifetime had them up last time I looked but they were pricey...and Utah is no where close to Missouri!! Lifetime Made In America Utah and Tennessee from what I understand. USA!!

I got the lifetime kokanee which is basically the same as the Envoy but bright orange. Bought it for under $300 at Walmart summer of 2018. They were almost giving them away and I snatched one up! Great kayak! Very heavy!

How would you attach it to the roof of a car for the front and back part?

Thanks for video and I have a question? Seems I have this same one but only one cargo hole in the front. I seemed to have gotten water in the hull and can't seem yo get it out easily. Pretty heavy to move it around by myself. Any suggestions? Thanks, Randy

Yes its hard wrestling it around!! Unfortunately because of the drain plug position and the shape of the kayak around it. Some kayaks will have water that is virtually impossible to get out. I have a short sit on top that has had water in it since 2015! You might try laying this one upside down with the stern lifted up slightly and let it sit for a while. Just from the looks of the drain plug area. Still a little might remain. Thank you for commenting.

To me it looks like you shift one of the seats to the middle for single kayak use for weight distribution.

Yes and thats the beauty of this kayak for a lot of bigger yakkers. Move the seat and the gray clip. and remove the other seat. Then you have a Kayak 10 feet 6 inches long. With a weight limit of 425. Unheard of weight limit in the lower price range. A real value for that alone. Lifetime is a great brand. It is 75 Lbs or so. I recommend pulling up to the bank or the boat ramp to deploy this beast. If you have to carry it or drag it you can, but it is a lot for one man. Cool Kayak though for sure. I have this same kayak, unfortunately one of the storage hatch lids broke. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement? I’ve tried buying a few off Amazon but the size is always off

They have a "missing parts" link on the Lifetime website. Down at the bottom. I think its under customer service. You could start by calling them. Make sure you get the right seat and clip. Sometimes they vary a little bit.

Just picked one up. Haven't tried it out yet. Did you add scupper plugs or anything else? Thanks.

I'm looking at getting this very Kayak.........I'm 300# and looking to use it 3/4 of time by myself and other times to take my lil Granddaughter paddling who weighs only 60#....Does it cruise or track pretty straight when you stop paddling? Ty

So is this updated, and a newer version of the Kokanee? Are there differences about it, or just color and name?

I don't have the total breakdown but it is the same exact hull as the Kokanee. Since I have owned them I have seen a few upgrades. The hatches changed. The handles are different and some have soft seats and some don't. Also sometimes they come with paddles and sometimes not. Im not sure of the year on this one but its at least 3 or 4 years old. I bought it used... Thanks for commenting.

You could probably have to bolt it to the Kayak on this model. There are some flat areas on top. You would want to make sure the rear passenger still had good foot room.

I have this kayak. There is water inside and zo can't get the water out. Do you know how to?

There is a drain plug on the very front of the top of the kayak by the handle. Unscrew that and lay the Kayak upside down With the front a little lower than the rear of the kayak. It should all run out. Sometimes the last little bit will be hard to get out. but thats normal. Dont forget to put the plug back in. Thanks for watching. Subscribe!

Can you replace the seats and backs with padded ones?

Yes you can. You might need to ad some rear mounting hardware if the seat has rear straps. Also I would try to get a padded seat that has front straps you can use with the factory front clips and anchors. For strength.

DONT BUY, BIG HEADACHE I bought this kayat for my grandson and me to enjoy getting on the water. It has been a disaster since we bpought it and it has resulted in terrible experiences with my grandson. Cons: seats are bad, tolerate no more than 20 minutes no places for rod holders unable to place adaptations(seats, rod holders, motor mount). You cannot attach bolts to the top of the kayat to place attachments onto kayat,) The company has poor service, spent 3 hours contacting the company and they were no help in resolving anything Super heavy(75 lbs), need large truck to transport. Unable to drill into kayat per company or you lose your warranty Cost about 200.00 to ship back to company Pro's: You have 30 days to try it and return it to Walmart (my truck was in repair so I had to wait past the 30 day limit and unable to return kayat) Cheap but unable to use Reply
