In this video i discuss the accessories i have added to a Perception Triumph 13 to turn it from a basic paddling kayak into a great kayak for coastal kayak fishing! I have added flush mounted rod holders, adjustable Railblaza Rod Holders, an Anchor Trolley System with Quick-Release Anchor Set Up and Adjustable Originz Footrests. I walk-through the outfitting on this kayak to help give you ideas for your own kayak fishing set up.

Ah just what I needed to see, thanks. I've got the flush mount holders behing the seat fitted and a mid to stern anchor trolley fitted but struggled with where to position rod rests upfront. They look spot on

Hello , i noticed u have a different anchor trolley system on this one then on the outback. Why is that this one better? (The one on outback looked really good)

This kayak has a more simple version fitted, specified by the owner. It still works great for setting the anchor line safely 😀
I'm just about to fit the same rod holders to the same kayak. How on earth did you reach to put washers and nuts on the starpoint mounts?!

I’m pretty sure I managed to get my arm into the centre hatch, I remember it being a tight squeeze and a bit fiddly. You could possibly reach in from the front hatch too.
Why not put the anchor system on the left side so you could be free to fit a rudder system on the right side?

That'a a really good question. Here's my thoughts. I'm right handed so find having the anchor trolly and the rudder uplift on the right hand side of the kayak the best for me. I tend to play and land fish over the left side of the kayak and not having any cords along that side helps avoid getting hooks stuck in them.
