Just a quick question about a good choice for a net for Stripers, blues and tog.

Is there a rod length rule of thumb for spin gear on the yak? Will 7’ get around the bow when working a fish?

Generally you don’t want to go much shorter than 7’ so you can move a fish around the bow when you need. I have a couple of 6’10” rods that work just fine.

What kayak do you use?

how does @kevin like the epdl? he was big on the autopilot. is it worth upgrading? he paid $6k for it?
