Wouldn’t count the 2018-19 Warriors since KD and Klay both got hurt and couldn’t play the rest of the series. They even almost won Game 6 with just Steph and Game 6 Klay nearly carrying them to a win until he tore his ACL on the fast break dunk. But Kawhi def gets credit for his performance against the Heat

The man has two Championships, two finals MVP’s and back to back defense player of the year awards, his legacy is straight. It’s just sometimes your body just doesn’t fully heal right after certain injuries. I would retire if it was my situation and still work for the league.

KD and Klay don't get hurt, Raptors don' t win the 2019 chip....but injuries are part of sports...in closing, others' injuries helped his career and his injuries did not allow him to reach his max potential...

What legacy did he have to begin with? His first chip he was the Spurs 4th option on the team and only got the FMVP because he “held” LeBron to 28 ppg. 🤦🏾‍♂️ Imagine getting an award simply because u “slowed”LeBron down enough that he didnt average 35 ppg against u. No he was better defensively than both of him and was more consistent scoring than them both. He wasn’t as explosive scoring as them but defensively he was above both them.

I swear this show focus on so much negativity. maybe one day shows like this will focus on positive things and up lifting. You can't take any accomplishments some one has achieved. kawhi is kawhi. Lead host on this show is ridiculous to listen to.

Only reason Kawhi has the Toronto championship is because Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson got injured in the Finals. Otherwise Warriors would have swept them or won 4-1. Kawhi was good, but he never even won a league MVP, so he was never considered the best player in the league. I agree with Acho, most people will remember Kawhi for his injuries and bringing load management to the league.

Acho going crazy with these takes man. 1. LBJ was never scared of Kawhi 2. Kobe was a better 2 way player than Kawhi 3. Kawhi got lucky af in 2019 finals. In two of the games he got carried by his role players not to mention GSW lost 2 of their starters. 4. Kawhi would never sniff top 10

Do people forget Kawhi didnt even want to go to Toronto, still went and won a ring.

I don’t think Kawhi being injured is his fault. I think it’s a condition he has to manage and he does manage it very well cause he still does his thing. 6 months ago he was in the mvp convo.

Im glad James made the distinction about Tom Brady. There were literal rules put in place so that Tom and other QBs could play longer. That doesnt count
