Great video! I’m fixing to get the same deal for my Terx 4 . Have you had any problems with the wires getting hot or melting? That it came with.

I haven’t had any issue with that. I maxed it out a couple times trying to get a bale of hay out of a creek. Heavy use for about 15-20mins and it never had a problem. Never got the wet bale out of the creek it outweighed the Teryx and I lost that fight, but the winch worked great.

HI there, I found the video helpful. Thanks for sharing. Have a few questions. Can you show a pic or closeup on your splice into the fusebox? Second, any issues after taking it out and getting/wet/muddy? thanks again for sharing!

I snapped a couple pics. I’ll try to load them to the comments. No issues with splices getting any water intrusion. I have taken it out in snow, rain, and light mud. Pulling it on the trailer at interstate speeds don’t allow water to get in there.

What kind of splice did you use and could you show a picture of your set up?

It would either be a T-Type splice or a butt splice. I have tried before, but haven’t found a way to add pictures in comments. Where did you find the guards for the front cv axles?

Those came on the machine when I purchased it. I plan on making a video and make a little larger ones to provide better protection.

kawasaki really went above & beyond to make it impossible to install any front mounted tow hook / recovery point.

The only place would be to fabricate an eye on the bottom mounting point for the brush guard. That goes into the frame. I might do that at some point because it see the same issue.
