Kawasaki SXR 800 Build Finish
Спорт
So over the summer of 2022 we took out our Kawasaki SXR 800. The ski is a back up so doesn’t have many hours on it but we started to notice it was taking on some water and we always pushed it to the back burner. Low and behold the carrier bearing let lose (completely de-vulcanizing) giving us a 3 inch water passage. So we rescued it and gave it a revival and face lift over the winter! Something it’s deserved for years.

I love the sxr 800 the handling is just perfect
That might just be one of the most beautiful SXRs I’ve ever seen.

Thanks man appreciate it!
Nice skii! I got my first sxr800 a few days ago. 2005 sxr bone stock and very clean, havent been ridden much, the original tray padding looks only lightly used. Except for a 4 degree bar and grips i will keep it stock. I have a blowsion freestyle pumpcone at home, would you recomend use that? Will i lose any top end on it?

Awesome ski. They handle pretty great stock but a ride plate, intake, and prop change the ski (plus the bars, grips and throttle of course!) Depends on riding style your going for but you shouldn’t lose much top end with the pump cone
The handpole what hardware did you have to use to fit the bracket?! They told me I would have to get a whole new bracket before

I used the stock SXR pole bracket. The RRP Pole bolts right up to it with the corresponding bushings
Very nice SXR800 I have one completely stock, except an TBM ride plate, and 0° steer. How long does the colour on a powder coated ride plate last? And i am running with the TBM plate and 0 degree steer, which upgrade do you recommend to make it even better?

Powder coat on a ride plate will last for a long time in fresh water and little to no beaching of the ski. For me I’ve had some plates powder coated for over 5 years now and they look almost as good as the first day!

Best bang for your buck is always a pipe (factory pipe) imo. But also depends on your riding style for the next upgrade. Could always DM me on insta and we could talk there about your next steps on the ski @toomanytoys9
This raceable?

In some class I would assume it’s race able, which class that is I would not be able to tell.
