Kawasaki Mule SX 4x4 FI - Nimble, Quick & Useful UTV - Roof and Rearview Mirror install

We just added a Kawasaki Mule SX4x4 FI to the fleet at the farm. We had a very specific idea of what was needed: Narrow, nimble, gas, four wheel drive with a dump bed. So may side by sides are huge...about the size of a Jeep or small pickup...but we needed that could fit in tight spaces, run narrow trails through the woods, perform garden duty, and most importantly, give mom more access to the property.
We have all kinds of upgrade in store, and today we started with the roof and rearview mirror. There were fairly easy installs, and only took about an hour for both. Here are links the the parts:

I have two Kawasaki MULE 610 XC’s. A 2012 and a 2013. They don’t get much use. However, they have the governed 400cc engine like this one. I have never had machines so reliable in my life. I have as much as put batteries in these UV’s and change the oil once a year. They are totally amazing.
I bought the same model/color Mule early Sept. Added roof, windshield, back windscreen, mirrors, trailer hitch & snow blade. Just right for my 1-1/2 acre property!
Just bought one of these in white and it has a superatv windshield on it and I put a trailer ball too. So far i love it.
I'm surprised this is a 2-piece roof. I got a 1 piece roof from Amazon (looks the same but 1 piece). It has worked great for years!
A lighter reflective colour for a roof would have been better. Using dhutterboard might give you some extra carry space.
Any suggestions for aftermarket dump bed assist?

How is the steering effort on one of these? Do you ever wish it had power steering? Our ranger crew is brutal to turn. Thanks!

I have owned my Australian carbureted version of the Mule for nearly two years. The steering effort is perfectly ok. I find it to be reasonably light, even at slow speed. I have seen mine up for night time shooting (which is perfectly legal here in Western Australia). I am a very satisfied owner. It is not a quick or powerful sxs, but it has a lot of off road ability. Its narrowness makes it feel a bit tippy on side slopes, but I have never looked like tipping over. I am, however be very careful on side slopes. The narrowness really helps get through tight places. Our local Kawasaki dealer sells a lot of these buggies to local dairies and vineyards. They are very reliable and long lasting. If you can live with the low performance they are a great buggy.
