KAVA KUO HEKA

In 1998, in the Kingdom of Tonga, two Royal Kava ceremonies took place which were presided over by His Majesty King Taufa'ahau Tupou IV. Never before were cameras permitted at these ancient, traditional ceremonies ~ I directed this program in collaboration with Dr. Eric Shumway and Dr. Vernice Wineera from the Pacific Institute of BYU-Hawaii. Enjoy witnessing a remarkable Polynesian event filled with symbolism and majesty from a bygone era.

yea, shows Tonga and Uvea's connection. Well, Uvea's ancestors are pretty much Tongan anyways. Uvea language, culture, attire, customs are the closest to Tongan culture than any other Polynesian culture. Uvea kava royal ceremony also known in Tongan as Fakapangai, is very similar how they do it. Even Lau Fiji and many parts of Fiji wear the ta'ovala due to the Tongan influence. Pretty awesome!!

You pretty much stated the origin of colonization which is when MISSIONARIES settled into Tonga and built Christianity in the lands of our forefathers.....Please know your origin before you boldly call another a NO BRAINER......Because Colonisation came in the form of RELIGION....even happened in New Zealand.....Australia...etc......its cool to see you have a FARE- IDEA of what happened...but you obviously need to do abit more research.......My STATEMENT WAS A FACT...not my own opinion......so if you wanted.....I will throw up the reference......for the source I have is not online...but in a BOOK from our TONGAN PAST......before you go parading false facts.......PLEASE ASK YOURSELF A SIMPLE QUESTION ABOUT THE ORGIN OF TONGA......WHAT WAS THE SPIRITUALITY VIEWS THAT WE TONGANS HAD BEFORE COLONISATION SETTLED IN OUR LANDS...... hahaha.......these

I recently purchased it from www.kickbackwithkava.com for my mom who is often suffered from this problem. This tea also provides some minor pain relief and gives the drinker support for proper kidney function and digestion. This does not contain any caffeine.

the study i quoted seemed to refer to the location mentioned. Its a reasonable assumption to make of it being the origin.scientific studies such as those done by Mr Brunton is very credible, disregarding oral histories of pacific traditions (for obvious reasons). The journey of kava from east to west is one for interested. Vanuatu started with 98 varieties, fiji got about 15-20 varieties, Tonga further out got even less (from memory about 5). The journey of food groups from Melanesia all the way to Hawaii have the same pattern
