My Daughter Died of Cancer On December 8th 2012... Buried 12/12/12 I Never got a chance to Thank Katy Perry for a Video she made for my daughter to lift her Spirits during the time she was fighting her Cancer in 2011-2012... In the video Katy Perry made for her she acknowledged her and said that she heard she was sick and also heard that her song (Firework) was my daughters favorite song so she sang that song to her ... My daughter of course was ecstatic when she saw her favorite singer singing her favorite song... They ended playing this Katy Perry Song at her Funeral... There was a Million People at her Funeral...I've never seen so many people in my life at a Funeral... And the procession to get to the Cemetery was as if she was the President getting escorted there. Shutting down Highways and Stopping any traffic... My Daughter was a Special Angel... There is a Part in Katy Perry's song (Firework) that she sang to my daughter where she says... (You're Original Cannot Be Replaced) I ended up putting these words and this quote on my daughters Gravestone... If Anyone out there has any connections to Katy Perry please tell her I said Thank You with all my Heart... To My Daughter... See You Soon Best Friend.

i got diagnosed by leukemia on 12/12/12. it was the best thing that happened to me. thanks to it I could make everything about me better.

The first time I heard this song I cried. It's so beautiful, tragic and inspirational. Her Grammy performance was so simple and so important. She has these hits songs which are great and when she has the ability to write a song like that, how can you say she is not talented?

So stressed about my academic, family's problem, dealing with my physical which i have so many insecurities and losing myself everywhere like idc if a truck hit me as i cross on the other road. I found this song because music is my drug and healer, this channel recommended this song and i quickly listen and i cried. I felt alive and becoming strong. I love the part of I am not giving up. My 21 year old son accidentally overdosed on a drug he had never tried after a successful rehabilitation from opioid addiction. Simply over the break up of a girl. So unexpected and tragic but he knew God intimately and had encounters with God. I thank Jesus for saving his life that day we found him and rescuing him from the torture of demons that targeted him. July 4th of this year was one year and there are days it’s like he isn’t gone and some days it literally takes my breath away knowing how long it might be before I get to hold him again. But heaven is more real than ever. The grace of God sustains us. Jesus wasn’t about religion and church buildings at all, he’s all about true intimacy. It’s personal. God bless you, Katy.

This song isn't about bullying though? It's about dealing with depression and suicidal thoughts but getting better. Bullying can lead to that but doesn't always.

This song and Ghost got me through a horrible breakup. My ex cheated on me while I was at the funeral for my grandma. Already being so sad and then dealing with the feeling of utter betrayal with someone you love so much is just so hard. Luckily I’m now married to the best man in the world but I’ll always be grateful to Katy Perry for her music helping me through ❤️

This song means a lot to me. I struggle with depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts myself but this song gives me hope that it'll get better. It's a lyrical masterpiece and deserves more love. Definitely my favorite song of hers along with Unconditionally.
