beyonze. I'm not from the Philippines. I make this point because I don't know these singers. I'm no emotionally attached. I have no clue about favoritism and/or politics that goes on there. I take it that you are saying she doesn't have appeal. That she doesn't have charisma. You are wrong. She's one of the best you have there. She's better than Regina whose sound is very dated. If Katrina were to get more exposure and hit big outside of your country, people like you would be among those saying how great she is. She's one of the Philippines top two singers. She just doesn't get recognition there. If I were to take a guess, it's because Filipinos favor less Asian looking entertainers - a product of Colonialism.

I seldom say these words You are number # 1 To sing a high note and bring It up higher and higher, is Something not a lot of people do Not even morrisstte Amon.

She took a really short breath at 2:54 and used that little bit of air to belt out AAAAALL of those notes (the highest, most powerful notes in the song) until 3:10. That's SIXTEEN SECONDS OF BELTING from one short breath. And she has bashers??? I can't believe it

i love the song by both singers ...the original by Allred and the cover done by Morisette and i enjoyed them for their versions...but if it comes to the song being sung with emotion i will have to say it is done by Katrina Velarde and she makes the song her own.
