What a hoot 😂, watching Katrina's face as she birthed her bag was like watching a child's face light up in a sweet shop. I love the way you both work together, can't wait to see more of these ❤
So lovely to see 2 lovely ladies sewing together. Teaching and learning. 2 fantastic bags and great zips. Thank you for sharing. ❤❤
Oh my, this was an absolute blast!! I loved every minute of it. Both of your bags are gorgeous and I see lots of bag sewing in Katrina’s future!! LOL The two of you had so much fun which makes it really fun too for all of us. Thanks to both of you for sharing this. Happy bag sewing and quilting…………………….

Oh my gosh! I love watching you ladies separately & together! I look forward to your videos!❤
Formidable Katrina. J’avais le trac comme vous en vous regardant poser cette fermeture à glissières ! Bravo, le résultat est parfait. Un vrai moment de plaisir passé en votre compagnie et votre teacher ! Merci, Régine 🇫🇷
I love the two of you together! Your interactions with each other is lovely.
Hello from California. Love seeing you two together. I've been afraid of zippers too! I appreciate you showing us how to make the bag step by step. Would you and Jeanette have time to make weekly videos like this one? Christmas gifts perhaps?
You bring a ray of sunshine to the end of a day ladies !! The bags are lovely and Katrina's face was a picture! well done to the teacher and the student x It is a great video x
I love to see you two working together, and to know that no matter how much we know there's always more to learn.
Oh Katrina! You're so delightful! You've inspired me to try sewing my first zip too!! 🥰
That was great fun to watch! I’m looking forward to your next collaboration! I’m going make a bag with a zip now. 🤣🧵
Fantastic 🎉. I was getting a giggle (out loud) at Katrina trimming her bag.... "soon I'll have a 4 inch bag" 😂 Thank you for the video 😊

We all laughed a lot whilst filming this part too!
The sewing duo back again….yay!!! Love it, great tutorial and hands on. Great stuff! ❤❤❤❤❤🎉
Hello from Southeast Michigan, USA! I love your tutorials and find them so easy to follow and inspireing. But, I especially enjoy watching both of you together. Keep them coming!
You Ladies are wonderful! I’m so glad the Sewing Studio popped up on my feed!
Oh my…this was such good fun to watch. Well done Katrina. I’m not a fan of zips and avoid them as often as I can! You are both so good to watch. Thank you x Dottie
My favourite way of learning, with laughter
You two are so much fun. Love this tutorial. It's quite comforting that we all have difficulties at times when we are sewing. It's a wonderful little bag. Thank you for sharing. ❤😅😊
I just adore watching you two ladies! And I learn so much!! Appreciate everything you do and share! Happy Sewing 🪡 from Ohio 😊
What a fun tutorial to watch. You two ladies had so much fun that you both had me laughing outloud and I am home alone!!! Thank you ladies for a wonderful tutorial-zippers are my fear for sure.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU I’m so happy I watched this video. I too have been scared to sew in a zip. I’m a self taught machinist with so much to learn. Now seeing this I can finally see in all the sips I’ve bought ages ago. Love the idea of using the larger zip. ❤❤❤
You did a great job Katrina. I have done bags but I haven't done little hexagons. You've certainly given me a reason to learn how to do them Janette. Your bag is beautiful. You both do such great tutorials and a hexie one would be great. Thanks, Mary
Taking the fear factor out beautifully with humour and good sense! And done at just the best speed and pace - thank you.
Ah Katrina's excitement is contagious
Thoroughly enjoy watching and learning when you two are together! Chuckled when Katrina's bag kept getting trimmed! Please make videos together for box bags and others with tabs?
The two of you are such a pair! 😂 Katrina's excitement is absolutely wonderful and Jeanette I think I am finally going to try to make a zipper bag of my own. (The have been my Mt. Everest as well!)
You Ladies are such a delight to watch. Thank you from Australia ❤
You two are having way too much fun 😂😂😂😂. Love it ❤
y'all R crazy fun to watch. TIPS; no pins around the zips use clips instead, find your stiletto to help the fabrics feed together, and just breathe. great job ladies.
Katrina you are so sweer! Love you ladies together. ❤
Great video. I too have a dislike of zips but you have both renewed my confidence to have a go. You make a great team 🩷
Loved seeing your excitement at successfully inserting a zip.
(Jayne) This tutorial was great! I enjoyed it so much and will probably watch again when I make a bag. Please do more of these types of teaching tutorials with zipper bags. Thanks girls!
Y'all cracked me up! I feel the same way about zippers. Great tutorial ladies! ❤ from the States!
I thoroughly enjoyed this video....and I wasn't even paying attention to what was being done, lol. I just got a kick from watching you two gals interacting. More videos like this please.
Katrina, thank you for being vulnerable. I have sewn for 40 years and never was comfortable sewing in zippers. This was a lot of fun and I also can watch again on you tube. Thank you both🩵
Katrina is priceless!
You two are lovely together. Thanks for sharing.
I need to go and practice my zipper inserts now, I always steer away from zips but think I could follow this. Love your videos and look forward to more zips ones 😊
I just made my first bag!!! I made a Texas rose epp block and thought now what? Saw this video and sewed the epp to the front bag piece. Thanks for this video! I’ll make plenty more now that I know how!!
I love watching the two of you! The bags are cute. I am now inspired to make one.
Move over Eric & Ernie, there’s a new double act in town! Really enjoyed the tutorial.
Yours is one of my favourite sights to watch. I always learn something new, and have fun watching. What a great idea for a Christmas presents.
As ALWAYS an enjoyable, learning and full of fun video. ❤❤❤ Thank you for the 🌞
I love these instructions!!!! I think I can do this. Note: you owe your friend a new pair of everyday scissors for cutting the zippers. Those were even too dull to cut the zipper!! I too am a leftie and I noticed that you hold scissors with your right hand as do I. I also throw a ball with my right hand. Funny these things...
Brilliant. Kathleen
Thank you for that fun and informative tutorial. I can't wait for the next tutorial.
Well done Katrina. 👏🥰.
I absolutely adore both of you! Thank you for such fun and informative videos ❤
Hello from the US, specifically the beautiful Pacific NW! I subscribed recently based on another video of yours that I found not only educational, but purely enjoyable! This video was even more endearing. I love seeing your interactions and pure joy at accomplishing a zip (one of MY fears!). I really want to make one of these bags now! I need to look up the tutorial on the the scrappy methods…. I have gobs and I am a PURE beginner! Thanks for the smiles!
That was such fun, you both cheered me up no end. Thank you
Brilliant…. Love your videos. Leant so much!! Priceless. 😍
What a hoot is right! Loved it!

You guys are so funny! Great tutorial!!
I love this! I had exactly the same response as you did Katrina... "look I did it! I made a bag with a zip". You won't be able to stop making scrap buster bags with zips now😊
Great fun and very easy to follow
Love it xx

So funny well done you x
❤❤❤
I love this video, such a pleasant visit. Let’s all make our “bag” today, ❤❤❤
Hilarious and cute!!
It appears you moved the needle to the zipper side of the zipper foot. How many “ticks” did you move the zipper? Example: -5
You two are beyond cute
