I soooo love this interview. Colin had intelligent answers to all her questions. I'm not sure whether he received them in advance or he is just plain smart, professional and enchanting. It looked like for Katie, she would have nodded and smiled at anything he said. She looked bewitched! Oh but she is not the only one. The man could read the dictionary and I'd be completely glued in and drooling.

The King's Speech is a precious jeweled crown piece of cinema, absolutely stunning work of cinematic art.. Everything about that movie was simply splendid. And Colin Firth -- what a beautiful artist, person, soul, and man.

Mr. Firth was brilliant, as always -- intelligent, thoughtful, humorous, generous, humble and kind -- a rare man with exceptional talent and insights. I am very pleased that he is finally getting the attention he deserves for his exceptional work. Ms. Couric (just because I want you to continue in your success, I offer small criticisms), it was King George VI, not "Charles," and I hope you have retired those glasses to the dust bin. :) Wonderful interview!!! Thank you both very much.

did she not know that she was going to interview colin about king's speech? I mean she has no idea who wrote the script, what the characters are named. Forget about being good at history, she should have at least prepared herself for that day.

Good insights from Colin on Bertie. The king won loyalty and respect from the British people. They knew he had reluctantly accepted the crown from duty in contrast to Hitler and Mussolini's lust for power. And though he did not stand on the battlefront and lived in comparative luxury, they knew something of his personal struggle with public speaking and so they could be proud of his courage.

Terrible inteview, Catie is useless, Colin is awesome, Why did she ask so many stupid questions? Colin was so patient. I would have got oo7 to eliminate her before the interview, and at the end she throws out like just by answering her stupid questions he is cuddled in her power to protect people.

Why did she call him king Charles? She must be thinking of prince Charles? We American s are not really into monarchs. Remember the Boston tea party? She calls him birdie no one in England calls him Birdie. ????? But cool interview. It's hard not to love the English gentleman.
