Ghandruk has already lost its identity. It used to be known for traditional Gurung houses, dress, culture, food but now we only see concrete hotel buildings.

Ghandruk looks beautiful, and Gurung hotel looks great. Pleased to see aesthetically pleasing Gurung hotel. Nepal is being rapidly uglified / spoilt by blue tin roof, ugly concrete boxes and use of bright paints!

Yes, but prepare for rains in pokhara valley, pokhara has the most rainfall around the year,, carry umbrella
is it safe to park ....?
I visited Ghandruk in March'22 with my bike from India. These road construction is complete till the old parking area. But after that 8kms are still off-road.

The mountain view is always visible Make sure to check the weather is sunny and not cloudy in weather app on the day you are staying.

We are going to ghandruk Village this month's end... I will be grateful to you brother if you clear some of my queries.... 1. What are the permits required to visit ghandruk from Pokhara? 2. Is it possible to reach ghandruk by our own bike? 3. Is there need of any permit for bike? 4. Is parking facility available near the main Village ( specially Gurung Cottage)?? 5. How long will the parking area be from gurung cottage? Please help me out bhai... Hoping for your reply..❤

1. I think no permit is required just to visit Ghandruk. 2. Yes 3.No 4.Yes (bulk parking area available for all visitors) 5.10 -15mins hike
