That scene gets me Everytime. Like she said. To hear a lost loved ones voice again...that would truly be heaven on earth

Amen rainbow. I know exactly if I were to go back in time and that same thing with my grams. I would be really exactly the way she is a little only bit worse.

I always loved the grandmother telephone scene so much. It was my very favorite scene in the movie. So happy Kathleen thought so too. Very moving and spiritual and amazing. Love Kathleen. Peggy Sue is my favorite of all her movies. So cool.

The music adds so much to the emotion. Not quite the same without it.

Her versatility as an actress is so under-appreciated. Some people question her choices but after reading her book, I totally understand. She was avoiding typecasting.

Yes - this scene and the continuation of this sentiment bring the character she plays to reevaluate and correct her regrets from growing up. It's a heartwarming film with a magnificent John Barry score. Highly recommended!

Favourite scene was when Peggy Sue was singing "My Country Tis of thee," very loudly in school, then someone says Peggy Sue! Of course, that's just one favourite scene of mine, there are others!

Even when my grandmother was alive, I mourned losing her in the future (when seeing this film). Now that I'm an adult, she has sinced passed. I understand this scene even more so now.

Kathleen Turner was super hot back in the 80's & very early 90's, before her rheumatoid arthritis set in, the medication from that is sadly what caused her to age badly & gain so much weight!

I agree. Her eyes are still there. She had such beautiful eyes that could pierce right into the center of your soul. And she was so powerful in a sexy way.
