Katherine Short races Black Canyon 100K & We Crewed Her | WSER Qualifier Golden ticket
Great adventures don't always go according to plan, thats what makes it an adventure, the excitement of the unknown & often times you figure it out as you go. Jenny and I crew our friend Katherine Short at the Black Canyon Ultras 100km trail race & what and adventure it was! The Black Canyons is a Western States qualifying golden ticket race.
We've always loved the idea of living in a van one day ( take a year and travel) and decided to give it a go while we were down in Arizona with a rental. Besides freezing at night it was a great experience. We Packed light and only had carry on luggage so warm clothes were in limited supply.

This was fun... the sea to summit sink seems dumb for backpacking, but I car camp with a small suv and I love it for that, hasn't failed yet, works pretty good :)

Correct, I took the distances from the black canyons website map and they had it stated in miles.
