No they don't, they're ridiculous. Just as her talk of being "an immigrant single mother"... Why does everyone need to signal fake victim status? I mean about the rights of her grandmother...that was because the men were k1ll3d with work and wars and were shouldered with all the responsibility. Looking at today's society maybe that previous system was better.

@@pistonburner6448 That's a great point. Life was way harder in the past. What we now see as oppression towards women was actually protection in those times. No sensible woman would have given away that protection to live and die like a man.

@@pistonburner6448 why am i assumed to be i n support of them? i didnt even mention any countries whatsoever in my original comment. and yes, youre right. men had difficult times as well and faced dangerous working conditions and wars etc. its interesting though how when im talking of something very specific, of unequal treatement and sexism in marriage and you just come in with a general point about men. men were never considered the property of their wives, and women were never seen as justified in abusing their wives. men were simply not seen as women's property. someone's been watching ben shapiro lately.

But all Irish people are Brits. The misunderstanding lies with Irish people themselves. Somewhere back a hundred years ago and not being very educated on Geography, they associated the term "Brit" with London when in reality the term BRITISH means all natural inhabitants of the British Isles...so all Welsh, Scots, Irish and English. For Irish to deny being British would be like Kenya saying they are not African. A Brit does NOT mean someone who is just English, Scottish or Welsh.
