An enjoyably passionate presentation on a poet I have yet to read, although I inherited an old volume of his poems from my mother. I also have your book now so look forward to digesting that and absorbing his passions. You were recently at Hay but were engaged in the children's sessions, maybe one day you'll feel able to enchant the adults too - like you do in this recording. Many thanks.

Not a wasted word. What an incredible rush of passion so beautifully articulated. A rare intelligence. Donne would smile.

A great 12 minutes! If I weren't already topped out on the super-cool John Donne, this would have finished the job.

Dr. Rundell. Your interview on the Folger's Shakespeare podcast was the best I've heard. As a lifelong lover of Donne, I had goosebumps. I immediately ordered the book. Thank you.

A great elucidation of Donne's thinking process . I am really fascinated to know if Katherine Rundell penned any of her own verse ? I hope she does .

I wish she had done the audiobook instead of the Simon. The performer did a good job, but she would have been great!
