I love how the announcer says that most of us could do some of these dance moves AS SHE DOES THAT SPLIT.

I remember seeing an interview with her a few years ago and she said that she was bullied as a child, well those bullies can go pound sand!! She’s an outstanding athlete and a super professional!! I love the look of determination and joy on her face!! You go girl!! Love and Respect from NYC.

I started watching women's gymnastics back when Nadia Comaneci scored her first 10. But, watching Katelyn is always fun and exciting. She is amazingly athletic, makes what she does look so easy when it's incredibly difficult. And she looks like she's having a blast. Very Very fun to watch, she is an impressive athlete. Keep it up young lady!!

I've seen this routine so many times and still puts a smile on my face...Amazing.

One of the reasons she excels is, that in addition to being a top notch gymnast, she does a great job with the dance elements. In a lot of the floor routines we see these days, gymnasts give the non-tumbling passes short shrift and make all these extraneous “dance”-like movements that don’t add much to the choreography. Her floor exercises are as much about the dance as they are gymnastics. Nothing is out of place.

Aside from a Nationals size arena, The Huntsmen Center is the perfect venue for this type of routine because of how big it is and how well the sound can be evenly distributed
