I started listening to Kate Wolf back in 1983. I was 30 yrs old. I am now 70 yrs old and still get carried away by her music.

...perhaps the most gentle painter of souls who ever lived...Kate - the gifts you left for us...gone too soon...remembered and loved long...you are missed to this day...

2023 is the last year of the Kate Wolf Festival in Northern California. I was at many, with good friends; Jon & Jack and David. I changed, the Festival changed, America changed, as did California. "Always let a back road take you home." God bless you all

Back in the 1980s, I had just discovered Ms. Wolf and was deeply enjoying her music, strength, and mystic love of nature. Then, I heard that she had cancer, and I shut it down. I stopped listening, it was too much. I picked her music back up in 2010 during a time of trouble. Her voice, her love, and the soul of her songs gave me the courage to go on. May the afterlife gently rest upon Kate Wolf. Her work echoes through the ages. Creator bless Kate Wolf.

My dad passed away too young in 2010 - his death was unexpected to me because he did not tell me the full extent of his heart failure. During the weeks he knew his life was fading, he wrote down the lyrics of this song in his notebook which is how I found it and why I posted it here. Your comments have been wonderful to read, thank you. He loved Kate's music a lot and now so do I.

After a day of listening to all the bad things going on the world.i sit in my room listening to Kate.she cleanses my mind to face another day.

I play Kate's music every day. She has become my companion during these trying times. I love how she viewed the world.

I love Kate's voice and intricate guitar. Dammit...why do all the really talented ones have to leave us.

I have known of her for many years and never really listened to her. Working in a music store it would have been easy. Sometimes I think things wait for the time to come to you. After my angel bride passed I have found so much music. Brianna Lea Pruett lead the way especially after she passed at 32. I found Kate again a few months ago. I think my angel bride and Brianna lead her to me.

So so sad she was taken from us .........I listen to her magical singing and just cry for the beauty she created......

The Superstition Mountains and the Rim is my town. That's where I live now. Said, "bye to the city," and haven't regretted. I know her music so well and never heard this! Go see the Rim if you haven't yet. The canyon is as good as she sings.

Selten hat mich Musik so berührt... im Wissen auch, dass wir nur Gast auf dieser Welt sind. Kate hatte das wunderbar im Griff.

I love Kate Wolfs music so much. I've traveled that rim so many times in my life. She perfectly captures what it's like to live in and love Arizona. Her music is such a blessing.
