I actually wonder if this is the reason she and Sam split up - no matter that Sam and Kate were married, Leo seemed to be more important to her, and that would be hard for any husband to accept, understandably! I do think it was quite harsh of Kate to address Leo before her own husband! I appreciate that Kate and Leo have a special friendship, but I also think she plays on that somewhat because he is such a heart throb, and I think her husband should have come first there! In her speech, she gushes over Leo like a love sick teenager, and her husband barely gets anything! I thought it was wrong, and quite cringy tbh!

I think you are on to something there. I feel as if Leo doesn't want to bring kids into the world because of how fucked up it already is, plus you know how much of an environmentalist he is. He probably told her that it wouldn't be fair to her to not have kids because he doesn't want them so they kept it in the friend zone.

Okay I know people say they're great as friends but I'm simply saying what I saw. Kate initially gets helped up by Leo and they hug while her husband just stands behind them looking and then she hugs him. Later, she lists the 2 men in her life and her husband just waits as she mentions Leo first, her voice cracking up and I can't held but notice that when she was giving the speech, her eyes immediately fall on him before her actual husband and when she gives her speech about her husband, it's comedic whereas with Leo it's heartfelt, her voice wavers and she says she loves him quite a bit but note she didn't say that to her husband once
