+Mark Patjowls Indeed. She is so laid back and pays attention to detail when vinyl mixing, e.g. when using the mixer controls, record clamps and even a cleaning brush.

This woman definitely loves it deep! ...very good set.

absolute no mainstream (house etc) but worth listening the picks and transitions .. there is so much sad controversy here, but I love it. the first 30 mins are calm and peaceful. picks: 11:44 >16:50 >> 17:55 >> 20:00 >> 25:50 >> 29:00 >> 33:58 >> 52:23

If the mixing is sloppy it's because the DJ is sloppy. Most people don't quantize their tracks anyway, that would be ridiculous. If she can't beatmatch well then she should be using a computer to help her with that. BTW, I'm not commenting at all on her mix, not really a huge house fan. I'm just saying that not having the music quantized (quantized to what anyway?) is no excuse for anything as all dance music is pretty much perfect - the tempo won't waiver unless it's a transitional track.

Well done bud,5 yrs is a very long time,you must have a wealth of musical knowledge under your belt...If you know anything about making electronic music then you will know that quantization in this context refers to the percussion in this track being aligned to the beat grid...not the performance parts that are played...

nice tracklist and thumbs up for keeping it real with vinyl, but she really needs to work on her beatmatching/mixing skills. this is not acceptable

it is so cool that boiler room is supporting young and fresh artists. kate came straight from the berlin underground scene at that time and made her way by improving her skills in a way, that other djs couldnt manage in year spannning carreers. the so called non-acceptance of your is jus being a total dick. it doesnt kill the vibe and i am happy to move within an open scene where it is totally fine for a dj, to be a human being and not a machine. big up boiler room for representing the true spirit of dance music: bringing people together and having a good time.
