She is beyond pop music. She is a musical Shakespeare. Have you noticed the boots put on the floor beside her ?

Not a live performance, but still a brilliant song.

New to your channel and massive Kate Bush fan since the 80s. To give perspective on how huge Kate Bush is, consider this - John Lennon was a fan. Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin) called her a genius. Elton John spoke of her as being a once in a lifetime talent. Prince called her his favourite woman. David Gilmour (Pink Floyd) has spoken of her as being completely unique in all of popular music, unlike anyone else before or after her. Tupac was a fan, as is Big Boi (OutKast). Bjork has spoken on a number of occasions of the impact Kate Bush had on her. Dusty Springfield spoke about being staggered at her talent. Chrissie Hynde (The Pretenders) described her as a person with what she called a 'perfect voice.' Kate was inducted into the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame in 2023. Big Boi gave the speech.

I appreciate that perspective of it all, I knew about some (like Big Boi mentioning her is literally the 1st time I heard her name maybe 20yrs ago now), but most of what you laid out I didn't know & am glad I do now

Sorry, not a live performance. Kate did very few live performances outside of her 1979 tour and her TV Christmas Special from the same year, and of course her six week residency at London’s Hammersmith Apollo in 2014 (for which there are no official videos). There are a few KZread videos of performances from her 1979 tour for you to try but the picture quality is often not that good. Performances from that tour that you should try include ‘Wuthering Heights’ (performances from two different concerts to choose from), ‘Moving’, ‘In Search of Peter Pan/Symphony In Blue’ and ‘James and the Cold Gun’. Here is a link to the concert from the Hammersmith Odeon, which gives the time stamp for each song in the description kzread.info/dash/bejne/c2ho2dmLl92tpdo.htmlsi=88Mgin5Hhtdt9r4X You can also find KZread videos of individual songs from these tour concerts.

Yes, a great song but as Ray says not live - many tv stations in the early 80's hated any live performance as uncontrollable. She is considered one of the best live performers ever. Her only tour in 1979 was considered as a show that revolutionized live performance. She and her sound engineer effectively invented the headset radio mic (she asked him to produce a mic she could use while dancing and an arrangement with coat-hanger wire and the smallest decent radio mic was used). The tour was met with rapturous reviews such as: Melody Maker (mag): “the most magnificent spectacle ever encountered in the world of rock. (…) I hadn’t expected to be impressed by her as a singer, both she and the band were nothing short of immaculate”. and Sounds (mag): “so finely realized that it’s beyond criticism”. To get a flavour of this you could try reacting to "Kate Bush - James and the Cold Gun | REMASTERED (Live at Hammersmith Odeon 1979)". It has a great outro where she performs a 2 min stylized western shootout, you can see how she puts more into her performances than many others.
