Hey what do you think was more important to learn first? Gesture and form or anatomy? For me so far its been gesture and form to get the position and then fit the anatomy inside of it.

First, draw what you want to draw. And choose ways to improve naturally. i think each one has their own way and order. it is also meaningful to decide for yourself what to study first. as long as the direction is right, i don't think the order matters. have a nice journey

In response to your question, i think gestures are the realm of the senses and anatomies are the realm of the theory. whichever way you study first, choose a way to enjoy it. if you study gestures, you can learn how to express more freely and sensibly studying anatomy will help you learn the precision and certainty of human body expression. In terms of fun, studying gestures first might be a little more fun, but you're likely not to feel sure about the human body. however, if you study anatomy first, you will be able to draw an accurate human body, but you can feel that the picture is somewhat rigid.
