James, what kind of triggering do you use?

What I like most of all is the way you introduce the skank parts and blastbeats parts. Already high on energy and still a simple/right on you face little fill to bring the definitive kick in the teeth. Really one of my very very fave drummer. A pleasure to see you and hear you.

Saw them live in Dublin few years back in a amall club. Awsome band

Most people in the world can run 10km. That's why most fun run events are 5 or 10k and you'll see all sorts of ages and sizes make it. I'd argue less than 0.000001 or people drums this 😮

Research double strokes, the most common 2 are heel toe method or swivel technique. It will show you how to play that fast on the bass drums.

@@brenmfffusmc7803 Well, then maybe it's better for you to give tips to bass players. ;) You mixed things up. Your advise to research "double strokes" is wrong here. Although you could play this song with double strokes using "heel toe" James does NOT use double strokes here.

Ive never understood why guys do the swivel foot technique. Yeah it works for him and some others but for me just push the pedal down. No need to wiggle the legs side to side.

Can a drummer here explain why he does that shaky foot wobble when he does kick drum doubles on his single feet? I’ve never seen that. Is that acceptable technique or just a idiosyncrasy for him?
