I find no where chillies found added in any form ie green, red, black pepper !? It means it will be without or missing on chillies taste ??

Tried mutton yakhani in Udhampur (J&k) 20 yrs back , it was so so delicious, this video reminds me of that, will certainly try this , thank you 🙏

Missed fennel seed and ginger garlic whole when boiling meat , should be discarded when adding lamb and stock to the yoghurt. If your want to eat it as soup then add only half the quantity of yoghurt. Thyme is added to lamb and not mint. Unfortunately original Kashmiri recipes are changed. Egg is also optional and mostly not used in authentic recipe .

Recently, I managed to visit a Kashmiri Restaurant at Rawalpindi. I tried Hareesa , Palak Ghost and Mutton Yakhni . All were great, Yakhni was really wonderful. Ok . I shall request my wife to try it at home..... Prof ishtiaq Ahmed Qamar Rawalpindi Pakistan 🇵🇰

Hi i m from Amritsar.you can also add khoya in this curd mixture while cooking .it will increase the taste.chef hasn't add saunth pd and saunf pd .cook raw mutton seperately in cooker in oil with whole garam masala and ginger garlic paste.add some onion slices also.it will increase the taste of yakhni. For a royal touch add saffron also while cooking of muttan in curd gravy.

Follow all steps and ingredients.... But instead of meat use locke Or bagan but use fried vegetables
