Budget hotels normally don't have heating facilities even if they provide you heating they will charge you extra for heating. Suggest you to book a good 3 star hotel to enjoy your trip. It's not worth if you shiver in cold nights by saving money.

Shot in 1st week of October. Very less chances of finding snow in October. Gondola ticket can be only booked from official website of Gulmarg Gondola.

Brother we are very excited to tour kashmir & we have booked tickets. We r reaching Srinagar next week Thursday. Can u please tel me how the weather is going to be , can we expect snow in gulmarg/sonmarg/pahalgam?? Please suggest

Srinagar doesn't have snow you can expect snow at Gondola 2nd phase and thajiwas glacier.

We are visiting in second week of November, if there's snowing at that time..will we be able to go out in that period or will there be blockages on roads

No roads don't close here after snowfall except for ladakh route and srinagar jammu highway it's very rare.

December month is good if you are looking for snowfall and snow. Gardens will be closed or of no use in winter. Dal lake may be freezed in December.

Srinagar mein aap apne budget ke hisaab se stay kar sakte hain. 3 star, 4 star or 5 star. Aap guest house mein bhi stay kar sakte hai ya phir houseboat. Har choice available hain. Try Karo Dal lake ke aas paas stay karna.
