Funnily enough, DW failed to mention how Pakistan's role in smuggling drugs into India, especially in frontier regions such as Kashmir and Punjab for a very long time. In Punjab alone, the Indian border security forces shoot down dozens of drones every month that smuggle opioids from across Pakistan and into India that have been responsible for the drug crisis in Punjab. Pakistan has also refused to cooperate with India on narcotics and repeatedly funded drug smuggling operations into India either by sea or land.

No mention of Pakistan stopping production in 1979. They then moved the fields and the crude makeshift labs into Afghanistan. The finished product was moved into Pakistan to be shipped into Europe. It's been rumoured the money funded Pakistan's nuclear weapons project It some parts of Pakistan 1 k can be bought for around $4,500

Every Pakistani city has people who take drugs by covering themselves with a sheet under flyovers etc. Universities have drugs/rave parties. Also, as their Islamic interpretation is that alcohol is banned, they consume drugs, thinking that's allowed.

The problem of drugs is in India . The Pakistanis are supplying drugs to gangsters who are protected by their local MLA . The state are involved in this !!! Any area where there is a problem for the state government that state will be flooded with drugs . The police and politicians of that state are told to turn a blind eye . This problem was started by Congress in Punjab . But what the Congress didn't realise is that the drugs would spread throughout India . It is now big business and those people have got used to the money !!!. How many rich drug dealers are captured by the police ??? The big boys are protected by the political party's. It worked in Punjab so they moved onto Kashmir !!! Now South India will also become victims !!!. This is how government break your soul !!!!!. Tonnes of pure heroin was captured at Adhanis port !!! Did Adhanis get questioned ??? . Did anyone get arrested ??? .

Before addiction, my life was happy and I was thriving. Then, saying it's political and too much pressure is just a typical addict's response, where all addicts say it is not their responsibility to stay away, but they have been forced to do so. Not just in Kashmir, but in Punjab, which also borders with Pakistan, this issue exists; all these drugs are coming into India from Pakistan. As for Pakistani youth, their addiction has reached insane levels.

@@burhan8147 Education back then brought momentum to the Freedom struggle. It helped people see the truth about British rule in broad daylight and resolved them to attain freedom. The same goes with you, people from your region who are becoming civil servants and occupying higher positions in the government, the doctors, scientists, and teachers seeing through the facts and not getting swayed by the people who try to destabilize the region by spreading bad propaganda. Undoubtedly, I acknowledge the contributions made by some intellectuals who collaborated with the British for the advancement of Indian society and, ultimately, its quest for independence. However, it's essential to recognize that what we gained from British rule pales in comparison to what we lost. The colonial experience left us with scars that still haunt us today. While it's impossible to speculate on alternative histories, it's evident that British colonization set India back significantly. Despite our remarkable population size, our economic growth is not always reflective of improved conditions for the average citizen. We must critically examine the legacy of colonialism and its enduring impacts on our society.

So, isnt it seems those who get benefit from it deliberately introduced it to youth so that they can achieve their goals easily by destroying youth. except youth, nobody would have courage to change destiny of nations.
