I have a friend in Kerala who rebuilt a temple in his village. The temple was destroyed by Tipu. I agree with Dr. Sampath on the fact that there are many such sites across India, and it has to be decided on case by case basis.

The work that Hindus and Indians have to do to write actual history is incredibly challenging. Huge respect to historians and scholars like Sitaram Goel, Vikram Sampath, Meenakshi Jain, Shefali Vaidya, J Sai, and many others. It is not just about documenting the correct facts but also undoing the fiction on which generations - people and institutions - are raised. PS: Waiting to get it in Hindi as most people in my circle speak and read Hindi. Hope that's released soon.

Friend also please read the amazing novels written by S.L Byrappa (another Kannadiga who writes in kannada, however all his works are translated to all major languages). Read "Avarana" novel you will be reduced to tears, it is unputdownable. Avarana was translated by Sandeep balakrishna.

We need all people to be very vocal and voice opinions, if we want strong economy, 1 billion has reach 7 billion people. If we can't change what people think about us, we can't have strong country to leading world. Problems are there but India is best than rest. Please reach out to world media and start sharing opinions in whichever language. We are not bad as west. Don't try to be perfect, please start talking. We are the only surviving large group of indigenous cultures in world, rest are poisoned, killed or converted. Come on DAMN IT WE CAN DO IT
