Kashi - The Eternal City - Sadhguru

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Kashi, “the City of Light” is said to be more than 15,000 years old - the oldest inhabited city in the world. Home to 33 million gods and goddesses, this magnificent city was the beloved abode of Adiyogi Shiva and his wife Parvati, soon after their marriage. The Adiyogi himself established a powerful mandala (a sacred circular geometric pattern) of the city, by consecrating 108 shrines with unique qualities in a certain pattern - which continues to live even today.
In a series of talks, and a walk around the ancient city with Prasoon Joshi - noted lyricist and scriptwriter - Sadhguru elaborates on the science and geometry behind the layout of the city, the rich mythology of the land, and how despite invasions, Kashi has retained its glory and power, drawing millions of people from all over the world every year.
#Sadhguru
Yogi, mystic and visionary, Sadhguru is a spiritual master with a difference. An arresting blend of profundity and pragmatism, his life and work serves as a reminder that yoga is a contemporary science, vitally relevant to our times.

Beautiful video. I lived in Kashi and never knew that it was the oldest and most sacred city in the world. Although while walking on the banks of the Ganga, watching the foundations of the temples, one can clearly see that those megalythic blocks are several tons in weight and very ancient. And the Lord Shiva's presence can be felt throughout the city, especially in the Kashi Vishwanath temple.

Why kash is important. - Lord Shiva meditated there. - Lord Buddha meditated there. -First ever medical textbook on surgery was written there called "Susurata sanghita" By a sage named Susurata. Which is still used today for sergical process even today. In ancient times people come to Kashi for education.

One thing I noticed in Kashi my huge health problem has been resolved in Kashi and never bad happened with me. I also learnt most ancient form of healing practice marma chiktasa by the blessing of Lord Shiva. Beacuse he was the first yogi in the universe and father of marma chiktasa. Har har mahadev.

Nothing I wanted in my life, nothing like a thirst for meditation and Yoga. Never I have been so moved by anything like this, neither so happy in my life by something like a simple fenomenal process that is not possible to describe into words to anyone. I think that essence of blissful feeling that a person can have is an ultimate not sufficient to be described by so limited and primitive tools of our World's nature. I wish to take an opportunity to communicate to anyone, to express my joys and share with anyone that might get interested into process of seeking inner journeys of our own salvation.

The more I listen and hear the things that Sadhguru presents to those who are willing to take in the knowledge and understand what he is conveying, the more I'm certain of higher form of creation than that of what is understood by those brought up with the western ideas of what God is. What I'm saying is the spiritual side is turning itself into a more science based side. Churches are more and more turning to science so as to prove the existence of God! Sadhguru has already spoke of the very thing that the Western sciences are explaining to the people of the world just now in our evolutionary period of time for all humanity! I find him very knowledgeable and definitely an excellent source of learning. Thank You Sadhguru for opening my mind up to so much more than what is simply taught to us in school!

“India is the cradle of the human race, the birthplace of human speech, the mother of history, the grandmother of legend and the great grand mother of tradition.” When he visited Banaras (Varanasi/Kashi), he said that the city looks “older than history, older than tradition, older even than legend and looks twice as old as all of them put together." :- Mark twain. 💖🙏

Ramakrishna's visions in Kashi were several that I recall. One, he said that the streets, said to be paved with gold, really were paved with gold. For Him, the spiritual practices of uncountable yogis, Rishis, mystics, and sages, etc., for so long and uninterruptedly accumulated as the gold He saw the streets of the city paved with. Also, He related that when He visited the Manikarnika Ghat, He actually saw Shiva (tall & white w. matted hair) whispering the liberation mantra into the ear of the soul of the body being burnt; and at the same time the Goddess loosed with Her own hands the knots of ignorance (of all levels) around the Heart of the soul. Thus, liberation, final and complete is why not everyone who who aspired to 'die' there does, having been known to be mysteriously called away for some reason right before they pass, thus missing the chance they fervently longed for... such is the mystery of Kashi and the Lord of all beings. It is said to be a gift that one's own effort cannot 'buy.' For it is said, "Whom the Self chooses, by Him is He attained." In any event... it has also been said that: "He alone knows who knows; and, perhaps even he does not know." Therefore, may all beings in all the realms realize in their Heart of Hearts what they truly long for... and, with certainty, know in their innermost being that it will happen when the time is right; for it is said that "timing is all and the result of diligent practice." Jai Sri Ramakrishnaaya. Jai Sri Guru Swamiji. Jai Sri Guru Maharaj. Jai Sri Sadhguru... all of "one undivided heart." By the way, absolutely wonda'ful art; film and pictures, on this video. THANKS!!

An enlightened being can perceive everything directly from the source of creation. Eckhart Tolle said exactly the same... that nothing of the Power of Now is from his mind... that he just becomes silent... and inspiration about what to write comes directly from the source of creation (he calls it BEING)... he said in a way God made me write The Power of Now.

this is a generic, true advice, but some suffer spiritual persecution from the owners of the system, so some things are easy, while for others they are almost impossible, mainly because they can profit more or harvest more efficiently than the average being , instead of being celebrated, they are punished ... sad reality ... we have to avoid some powerful and jealous old people, with a backward mentality in order to get simple help ... our possibilities are offensive to some ... and these owners of power, have their situation completely illegal here on earth, because they invaded and took control of humanity, their days are coming to an end! ...

If World gets to know about the importance of Kashi, you will get ressourses to clean the Ganges and to restore the whole city of Kashi. There ARE good wise people in the socalled 'Elite' and they always look for the important buildings, and all the honest people and their LOVE for their places. And you know this, dear Sadhguru, my legal, rightliving example of Rightuseness, Happiness and generousity in all aspects of this miracelous Life 🇧🇻🕊️🌳

Sadguru is generous in giving information which our souls feel as authentic. Words and questions stop after hearing Sadguru. Sadguru is truly an invitation of a great yogi(may be Siberia, which he dwells , else where). India and people exposed to Sadguru, are the fortunate ones. Respectful pranams to Sadguru and may he live long enough to liberate many many more people.

Om Namah Shivaya! Hum! Iti Shivam! Swaha om Swasti Siddham! Thank you Guru-ji for this wonderful video on the ancient place of the Maharishis. BAM BAM BOLINATH!!! This beautful video with the incredible commentary & delightful scenes reminds me of a verse in the Shiva sutra a ancient text Written by the blessed Lord Shiva, " PREKSAKANI INDRIYANI" which could be interpreted as---The senses of the Yogi reveal the inmost actor to his delight. HARA HARA MAHADEV OM !!!!

liked His (Sadhguru) phrase: we need "PRATICAL" instruments to help people... like in ISRAEL, with their Bar Mitzva, the world´s mentallity, needs to shift to more clear and pratical relantioship amongst ourselves, and put aside by and by our heritage on jealousy and competition, so humanity can resume the path of evolution , lost some 7 thousand years ago... we need simple things, instead of complexity we have seen this days lately...
