So many denials over the phone calls ….

I'm a 27 year veteran police officer and work as a "Sex Crimes and Crimes Against Children Detective." And I've been told by many District Attorney's that they'd prefer an all Men's Jury for Rape Cases and cases against Female Suspects because they're more sympathetic to Female Victims and Suspects. Whereas Women on Jury's can see right through the BS of other Women and arn't swayed by the tears or the beauty from Female Victims and Suspects. So Karen Read is screwed if there's alot of Women on the Jury But I'm sure that Ms. Read's Attorney's know this and tried to get as many Men on the Jury as possible!

Thats a thing of the past. Look at how many men like Rick, and yourself, are leaning into men falling for women, over the facts that everyones lieing, destroying phones, cops watching each other's backs because they think they are connected enough to get away with it all.

It's sounds to me like Karen was trying to get a "new boyfriend" on the hook before she would dump the "old boyfriend." Because then she could say she dumped O'Keefe which feeds her ego. That's pretty typical of a very needed and clingy type, in my mind. When the clingy types get the impression "it's over" they flat freak out. Add alcohol, a cold snowy night, and frustration over the "new guy" not really being that interested ...... well...... this is kinda the demonstration of the worst case for how that's going to go.

Off the top of my head, the only thing I can say in favor of the court reporter speaking into a mic is that the judge can and does strike things from the record right then and there. There may be something in the law that requires a court reporter to be present. I dunno.

Hi Rick. Thanks for addressing the KR trial from your law enforcement experience. P.S. why do four police officers from Boston drive to New York City for a Police Officer's funeral? Brian Albert, Brian Higgins were two of the cops. January 28 2022.

Every trial had a witness that plays a pivotal role resulting in a guilty verdict, and BH has emerged as that witness. Handling the Defense, Jackson seems lost on cross. Higgins testimony and texts have permanently altered the KR trial. Jury and public now view her in a completely different light. Huge witness for the Prosecution on a 3 day Weekend.

I hope she testifies !

Even if Karen did it, the State has not presented a case that proves, beyond a reasonable doubt, that she is guilty of the crime of which she is accused. If folks want to come here and scream and yell about how much they love the constitution, they need to keep that in mind 😉

The fact a witness brought an attorney when everybody in this case testified before 2 grand juries is not a shock but, I'm surprised the prosecutor didn't object because it's also irrelevant. You have the right to consult with an attorney if you wish to.

Always amazing, the "legal speak BS" . Still no smoking gun for the conspiracy, IMO.

Why did the defendant somehow obtain Higgins’ phone number and begin texting him while still in a relationship with *the victim* , John? Why was she toying with Higgins? In an effort to make John jealous? To have a new boyfriend lined up since the relationship with John was coming to an end? To cheat on John? SHE reached out to Higgins, not the other way around.

@@JoshingU , Geeeezzzzz..... watch the testimony. He was given a notice that the defense wanted the phone and he could appear at that hearing and had to preserve the phone pending the hearing. The court denied the defense motion to seize the phone. 30 days later he disposed of the phone.

I believe that these people are protecting hot head Collin. Collin and John had beef precious to this. Also, John knew that Karen was flirting with Higgins via text. Possibility John walks in and confronts Higgins, that turns into a fight? Higgins had the hits for Karen. That is motive right there. And plus when big dummy Higgins was asked if he destroyed his phone he says "I didn't destroy it, I threw it away". Gimme a break. THEN he pulls out an OJ and starts saying if I did it with the aim card. Come on Rick, you've gotta see through this bs. There's witnesses that have already testified to seeing Karen's car parked in front of the house but didn't see John in the car. They were at that house.
