She really has the face of a old hollywood femme fatale actress. Very very beautiful. I mean yes the beauty that we admire now is the work of designers, makeup artists, hairstylists, and etc. but no model couldn't be that beautiful without having those features to begin with.

Karen's still one of my favorite models. Always loved her walk. Really sharp and concise but regal and graceful at the same time. Something about her posture and the way she moves her arms.

A real living doll for sure. That rare model that knew fashion. And totally loved it. Miss her.

she is often somehow overlooked when mainstream media talks about the 90’s supermodels. Yet people who follow fashion and those who write about it know who Karen is. She was a Versace and Westwood fav. Stunningly beautiful. I seem to remember her struggling at some point. Mental health.

Well, this is not somehow, but because she exposed them. Hell, that guy John Casablancas slept/dated Stephanie Seymour when she was 14! Guy was 45 or something. So, Karen exposed them. They tried to hush her, put her in the facility, but they got caught, they as first of them, the head of the french Elite agency Gerald Marie, french TV deleted whole interview, never aired it, and french prosecutors due to statue of limitations didn't prosecute him for rape. But he got caught trying during MeToo movement, he is btw, the ex of Linda Evangelista. Well, Karen called them long before 2017. In the early 2000s.

@@vladatella7833 It was around 1999, when I was still a young student, so I don`t think she was in Holland, but news broke out that she had difficulties, and I was getting concerned, maybe there was something I could do so I decided try to find (in the telephone book) her family home and call her parents. I had one advantage, my father was born in the same village ("Voorburg", near The Hague) so I had some references. Took me a few attempts, but eventually I had her father on the line. I introduced myself, expressed my concerns and ask him how things were with his daughter Karen. "That`s none of your business" was the response, Lol. Anyway, the conversation lasted 30 minutes, never spoke to her family again.

She really was "The Blonde with Class". She was pretty elegant on the runway. Also, RC, you knocked it out the park AGAIN with the music!
