Okinawa is home to many traditional cultures, including karate.
Hamakawa Akemi, a teacher of a local Shorin-Ryu dojo, teaches us that karate is not just about learning katas. We had a great opportunity to learn about the “core” principles of Karate and experience their traditional training.
