As for the sword guys, it's a nod to Sato who was the villain of Black Rain (which was played by the late Yusaku Matsuda who passed away from cancer after the movie finished filming)

Yo, I gotta ask some things. I know how to set up mame32++ for netplay, but where do you find people to play these odd games with you? Also, my internet is crap and I get around 70-110 ping most of the time, is this too high for kaillera ?

That might be playable, but if you wanted to know for sure, you could try to play a game by yourself on a Kaillera server and see how it runs. These people I play with are just my internet friends. It might sometimes be possible to find people on the Kaillera server who will play a game like this, although I can't say the odds are too good.

In my experience, the only ones who play arcade games on Kaillera are Koreans who play D&D, but they use this foreign version of mame, and my connection isn't good with them.

To play the D&D games, you would probably have the best chance to find people to play it if you had the Steam version of the game. I have never tried a game on a Korean server, but I'm sure I wouldn't be able to get a good connection there either. I would imagine that it would be possible to find some people interested in these games on some forums like the emuparadise forums or MAMEaddicts, but I can't say for sure.

This game is comedic in nature. I do not take this game serious.
