My interpretation: you’re descending into Hell in the beginning of the song, as the eerie vocals and instrumentals would suggest, then the beat dies and Ye demands the Devil to Lay Down and BAM, salvation hits. Potentially how Ye saw his spiritual life before finding God

This song Nasty, the way it builds up and he starts chanting.... Chills body just moving on its own
If this ain’t in the next Spiderman into the spider verse movie, it will be a missed opportunity.
Best track of the album, hands down.
INSANE. Got OG Dilla vibes too, showing the sample at the start, and then what was made of it in the production

Kayne NEVER misses man dudes ALWAYS on point ona lyrical view. Problem is this mans an genius and he goddamn knows it...i love you yezzy
Kanye really shows us his full capabilities on this song and how much of a lyricist he is.
this is one of kanye's greatest ever tracks.

This songs gives me chills everytime i listen to it. Respect for kanye.
Had the best workout today on this song. Every time Kanye goes Devil lay down, devil lay down, this that level that makes devils pray now.” I freakin get godlike strength.
"Save my people through my music...", burning false idols"..." make devils pray now.", OMG those lines hit me hard
Of the whole album, this is the only song that I haven't been able to stop listening to. Idk why people aren't talking more about this one.
