the thing is, when you look into it kanye's music is way more complex than eminem's. Eminem can cram a shit ton of words into a short amount of time which is cool, but you can't actually understand what he's saying and even if you do there's no apparent meaning to it. ye's music on the other hand, is slower but so much more deliberate and meaningful. each word is intentional and carries a deeper meaning. this song for example samples "strange fruit" which is a very melancholic song about lynching and slavery, and he uses that deep message to talk about his own personal struggles with some unidentified girl or perhaps his inner demons. At this time, Ye was struggling to get into the fashion business and there was a lot of anger pent up inside of him. the whole purpose of the album is basically Ye finding himself through Kim. It's a genius masterpiece work of art. I highly recommend the dissect podcast season 8 for you to learn more about why Yeezus is so genius.

To express those feelings of what the titel says Vs the emotions on this song, maybe to him it feels like the same, but i know it's not even close. The album Being his most unappreciated one i still admire the sounds that come out of it, RAGE, Pain, frustration with a devotion and love to the craft. the thing is, when you look into it kanye's music is way more complex than eminem's.

The emotion in this song. This is a true fucking artist. God bless Ye!
I used to think this song was deep, now in 23' i'm thinking i only got that part from the title. Blood on the leaves has a deeper meaning connected to his roots, yet the song is about his relationship with women, the industry and fame. To express those feelings of what the titel says Vs the emotions on this song, maybe to him it feels like the same, but i know it's not even close. The album Being his most unappreciated one i still admire the sounds that come out of it, RAGE, Pain, frustration with a devotion and love to the craft. He delivers no matter what and that is not what everyone can do.
So happy that i`m alive to see such a great artists like Kanye, Rocky and Travi$

The screaming in pain Got Me!
how is this song not at 1B???? from the sample track importance to the mastery of auto tune its flat out perfection!!!!!
you aint never heard this before, this is godly.
Everything about this preformace was exceptional in every way- including the videography. The shot of Kanye "screaming" into the mic towards the end was as if paying homage to Billie Holiday. Just perfection
5:13 Kanye gave us his soul
This song is my favorite song made me cry…
greatest performer of the 21st century. period. the way he can adapt any song to fit literally any setting is unmatched.

With so much autotune I'm a pretty decent performer as well ! You should see him in a freestyle settting at Sways Talk without Boundaries !! 🙄🤔😭😭🤣 lmao ! ( 'Slavery was a choice' 🤨 )
Best live Kanye performance. He puts so much emotion to his singing. This has to be his most slept on song!
why does this not have 1M views? this is one of his best performances.

omfg that's my favorite kanye's performance, these screams at the end just catch me.
Didn’t realise just how good that final verse is before watching this. The whole story of the song is crazy. “Two thousand dollar bag with no cash in your purse” sums up it all up. GOAT
im in tears. oh my god. this is so perfect. i love kanye west so much. he changed my life. modern day music lord. the true pioneer
GOAT, man never do playback and his performances are better than originals songs

@@epicman39 That's what it is. Taking away your career, or in Kanye's case careers and then the power that comes with them. He's still rich and has opinions but is that all that different from likes of Kevin Spacey. If there's any celebrities that have been largely resistant to cancelling it seems to be comedians like Chappelle and Louis CK.

@@snoopshrek8315 I think the "cancelled" term is dumb but pretty much everyone who has been considered "cancelled" still has fans, lots of money and family. The point is the main streams outlets like radio and major festivals that were used to promote his music will no longer engage with him in the same way and nor will the sneaker companies. I'd say he's also lost a lot of his fanbase as well. He's done irreparable damage.
The world needs this Kanye now
The ending was so Kanye for no reason 😂😂
this performance is the best autotune live performance i know of. the texture, voice control and aesthetics are so good
*ALL TIME GOATED YE PERFORMANCE*
The way he flows is insane
Dudes, let's witness and enjoy genius at work 🤩
No doubt in my mind..as a MUSIC lover. All genres. Kanye West is the BEST musician I’ve ever heard in my life. This is fuckin fire man..
The record scratching is so dope. Would love it if there was an alternate version on spotify with them
He's responsible for a whole new generation of music
One of the greatest artists of all time, and my idol for about a decade. It's a shame he never took responsibility for his mental heath. His legacy is permanently torched now for everyone not remaining in, what is at this point, his cult. F*** Kanye West.

i love kanye
My like for Kanye is his body of work and art with music. I don’t care at all about any of the politics controversy with Kanye. Yes, I will listen to what he has to say. I just don’t have any comments. I will talk to you about his music that’s all I can give you a conversation on. Besides the guy is very talented and gifted when it comes to music.
For real though, the brass samples on this are BRUTAL.
This will always make me weep.
Back here at 3AM to be captivated by Kanye doing his thing! I'd love a whole live album of Yeezus. Ye is truly the greatest living artist man fr. Love you Ye
