@@eclectricmagazine Kanyes explanation on not being a numbers guy he was trying to say that he doesnt make 4 sketches and the 4th is what he goes with just cause it the 4th which presumbably since its the 4th its the final, he could make 4 sketches and use non of them, he doesnt any certain calculation of how he make shoes or stuff....he just stops when he finds something he loves/likes which I feel is what he tried to explain to the interviewer. Because he looks at it from a business metric and marketing point, when most artists create purely for the craft and the love of the craft. Kanye wasnt talking down toward anyone but explaining himself and his views which opposed the interviewers and the interviewers idea of what it was and maybe was rude because interviewer didnt really try to understand that

Maurice G; I think generally Kanye is a poor articulater, but in this interview he actually was pretty good. His Grandma analogy especially was very good, he did a very good job at saying how art is not something to be measured, but to be felt.

Kanye is so funny to watch and I'm sure he doesn't realise it. The man is a genius, no doubt.

If a guy dedicated his whole life to sneaker design and making and this was his entire life work, it would be quite impressive. For kanye this is a 1/1000, if not less, of his body of work at 40 something. Just let that sink in.

That's why the David Letterman interview was so epic. Kanye is such a deep and profound thinker. It’s admiring to watch him create.

I love his respect for art. Not only did he decide the shoes needed to be displayed outside, but he got one of his artists to do it and do it well. The regular Tuesday morning backdrop makes it even better. And most importantly WHY IS THE INTERVIEWER NOT IMPRESSED!

I don’t want to ramble on too much, but I finally got some pairs of Yeezys after this recent Yeezy day (6 pairs lol). I never was able to get them a few years back cuz I was in drugs and had no money to spend. The pst year or 2 I’ve become obsessed with sneakers again and now I have money, so for me they’re symbolic of where I am now vs where I was. I know they seem like a material possession, but sneakers can tell a story for some sneakerheads. Not to mention I’m a huge fan of Kanye and always wish the best for him. I accept and forgive his flaws. He’s said somethings in the past that can be perceived as hurtful but I truly believe Kanye has a pure soul and the intentions are always good with him🙏🏽

From music to fashion, he has a special gift for creativity. He’s so ahead of his time. One of a kind

My cousin literally laughed at Kanye when he said “ Yeezy is the Lamborghini of shoes. “ even though it wasn’t me, it still hurt me because it shows no matter what, people will never believe in you. Good job on being a billionaire Kanye.

Yé gets nothing but my utmost respect and love. He’s been thru it in the induztry and has come out refined rather than weak and broken. He’s not afraid to manifest his ideas and they come from a genuine place weather it be clothing or muzak. He’s aware of many aspects and centers them in one place the best way he can. ✨

So this is where all the good colours of yeezys went too.

I get what hes saying about how he feels just seeing all those shoes, those are all things that were in his head and made it out. I get the same feeling just looking at all the shirts i make, its a feeling of familiarity, suprised, excited, and simply just blown away by what you single handedly made. Knowing that all those things are from you and apart of you, it just gives you every emotion all at once and its amazing.
