I know I didn’t give an Average Guy Hi-Fi score but it’s not a good format for speaker stands. Haha
If I had to rate these out of 10, I’d easily score them a 9.
These are very high quality and heavy dust speaker stands. In fact, I’ll likely be ordering another pair for my theater, for me L/R KEF R3’s.

Thanks buddy! I’m probably going to snag a white pair of the 6” versions, to use on top of my subs, for my R3’s. That’s if I decided to keep the subs in their current position and I don’t end up stacking them in the back of the room. Thank you again for helping support my little channel, my friend!
I was waiting for someone to make a video like this. Thanks!

I’m happy it helped! When I was shopping and doing my research on these, there weren’t many videos available in the Kanto SP stands, so I decided it might be helpful to someone. Thanks for stopping by!
Perfect timing. They just arrived. Opened the box and they sent bookshelf speakers instead. Have to send them back and re order them..

@@blazermdx Thanks. Yes I was ordering these stands. I've already reordered, but having a slight issue with the return..
thanks for the info, ordered them for kef lsx, I am sick of wires all over
Nice looking stands. Filling with sand should improve sound as the stands are more inert Aside: Bookshelf speakers on stands seem ideal vs tower speakers. On most towers, tweeters are way above ear level(while seated in a couch) which is not ideal
I heard that the Klipsch RP 600 M series 2 are already discounted on Amazon down to around $450.
Hey u have kefr3 right , are you able to mount them into this stand ? 🤔
Kanto are a good choice for speaker stands, i've got a few pairs of their little desktop speaker stands and they were always cheaper than Audioengine even though Audioengine make better speakers

I actually also ordered a pair of the matching white desktop stands. I haven’t opened them yet as my plans changed. Do you think I should do a video of them at some point, or is this video sufficient. Kanto really does make great products and their customer service is fantastic!

@@blazermdx As far as speaker stands go an unboxing video might actually be useful because they're more complicated than audio gear

Hey man! Yes indeed, nice quality stands! Cheers my friend!
Did you find the 26 to be a good height? Seems a little low. Was thinking the 32's seemed better.

I don't know if was Ron at New Record Day or another reviewer, but I've heard it at least from two KZreadrs that a 28" speaker stand height is recommended because it brings the tweeter to ear height for most people when they're in a seated position in front of their speakers.
@blazermdx

Like Ron mentioned, it really comes down to where you mainly listen to your speakers. If you’re in a seated position mostly, the tweeter should be as close to ear level when seated, as possible. If you listen mainly while standing and walking around, I’d definitely go with taller stands.
What are the measurements of the small top plate vs the large top plate? Thanks.
@blazermdx

The top plate is about 4 x 7 inches and the large top plate is is about 7 x 7 inches. Sorry for the delay, I hope that helps!

@@blazermdx Thank you.
Have you found these stands are able to support the KEF R3's? Read they're basically at the max weight for the Kanto's.
@blazermdx

I’m very particular about making sure all my equipment being safe. The R3’s are definitely heavy but these stands are totally heavy duty enough, to support them. I don’t have pets or kids though.. But with confidence!
So it's not possible to run the wire through the tube? I can't see a space near the top where cables could enter the tube.

Ok I think I get it now, there's a hole in the rear and the screw is from the front.

I could have done a better job explaining but there’s definitely a recess, for you to run the speaker wires through the tube. They are great stands and the customer service is top notch!
What stand do you use behind your TV? I have an LG C1 55" and I need something like you have for a center channel.

Just some adjustable monitor stands. They aren’t all that expensive, $120 or so, and they are very heavy duty. Type in stage monitor speaker stands and there’s a few reasonably priced options. They also pop up used by me quite frequently. Good luck with your search!
Would these stands work well with dali oberon 3s?

Oh yeah, these stands would work beautifully with those speakers! Just make sure you install the larger of the 2 top plates. Nice speakers, by the way!
